I had a dream for some time to build my gaming system, even though I don't play a lot of games (recently) only MMO World of Tanks, even that when I have time after work and after my baby goes to sleep), occasionally, I could play Fallout and maybe other new releases.
Honestly I though the case would be a bit smaller, but now I understand that in order to fit great VGA, you just can't go smaller. I found that for a first time builder this case is very very nice, it is spacious, and could be open from all sides, I have even removed the front fan once to adjust cables.
So, my family went on vacation overseas, and I was left home alone, and decided to finally for the first time build it.
I didn't OC it, since there is no need for that. I tested playing for 3-4 hours in my apartment, I didn't turn on AC, so the room temp was pretty warm (31C), after playing for 4 h, I touched the case and it was relatively hot, but the sensors showed only 57C for CPU and 72C for GPU on the average.
I have spend more $ than I planned, so I will probably sell this one on ebay or somewhere, to get $ back...if I won't be able to do it, so I will keep it I guess. Until my wife comes backs and kicks the crap out of me for not telling her))
I will upload picks of a ready system, please knowledgeable people, comment and critique it so I would understand if I was doing stuff correctly, I had troubles with cable management, but I think I put it together as much as the case and placement of ports allowed me.
Thank you for your kind input
Very quiet, even with open case, holds the temp nicely, in a HOT apartment no AC, temp was not more than 60C
I took 1 star off, since I got SATA SSD M.2 drive, but it was not reading it, I found out on some forums (not in the MANUAL) that this mobo supports only PCI-E M.2 cards, so I had remove the whole thing, remove the card (since it is on the back-plate of the mobo) ...I was a bit frustrated. I think this card is good for this case especially, all main ports are in front, and all cables could be managed right between the front fan and the mobo. Other than that I can't compare with anything else, since this is my first build.
Great Card!!! Runs the latest games (I tried Dark Souls 3) on MAX setting 130 FPS, World OF Tanks 130 FPS on Ultra, and doesn't go higher than 73 C in my HOT apartment!
Great great CASE, my first one, I love it, I wanted a bit smaller, but it would be impossible to fit great stuff in smaller case so this one was a good choice.
Good monitor, mate screen is perfect no reflections, I wish I had a bigger one like 27", but maybe next time. Good speaker in it, 2 HDMI ins.
