This is my first gaming computer! it cost a ton of money but I would say it was money well spent, The reason i say this is my first actual gaming PC is because 2 years ago i bought a "Fast gaming laptop" for $550, Needless to say it was one of the slowest computers i have ever witnessed, It had a AMD A8 3520M Clocked at 1.6Ghz, Pathetic right! So i was stuck with that turd for 2 years before i got this thing, And boy this is an improvement, I've only had this for a day so i can't say much about it but so far it runs The Forest, DayZ And Space engineers greatly at a stable 50-60+ FPS On all of them. All of the parts were selected by me but i had the guys down at Leon's computer shop do basically all of the assembling & Driver installations etc. I've learned a lot from watching them assemble my PC, and I've probably learned enough to be able to assemble a computer on my own now.
CPU: $140, Hexacore, Has all the power i need to play games.
CPU Cooler: Arrived DOA, Made out of cheap aluminum, Not much else to say, DO NOT BUY.
Motherboard: It is pretty cheap compared to most Intel boards and it has a nice I/O Port, I recommend it.
RAM: G.Skill quality, Matches the color scheme (Black and blue), And i got an extra 8Gbs free of charge! (thanks grandpa)
Storage: 840 EVO Boots insanely fast and is surprisingly smaller in person. WD BLACK is just your average 1tb platter HDD, It works fine.
Case: recommended by Tyler, Its spacey, Well made & has great airflow and cable management.
GPU: Got it on sale for 209.99, MSI Screwed me over, Lost the rebate, Other then that this card has the power of a 770 with the price of a 760, Definitely a good buy, And i got 3 free games!.
PSU: Love that its semi modular, Great PSU.
Monitor: Its overall a good monitor but, I don't know if its a driver problem or what, but my screen is cropped by like 7% and i haven't been able to fix it yet, But other then that i like it.
Keyboard: I like it, It has many hotkey options.
EDIT: I enabled AMD Overscan and the cropping issue is fixed now.
