Description

Primary use is for gaming and maybe a tad bit of video rendering on the side for a starter youtube channel. I've done a few video's, need to get a ModMic and some DT770 Pro's as my current headset is falling apart. Corsair 10/10 Build Quality!

H100i was a bit of a fiddle to get in, but got there in the end. Missed out one screw as it was impossible to get in. Stock fans did the job for a while, had to set up fan curves as they got LOUD. Added 1xAF120, 1xAF140 and 2xSP120 Quiet Edition recently. These helped A LOT!

970 Developed coil whine shortly after installation, Adaptive Sync on NVidia control panel sorted this.

Conclusion, Great PC, should last me 5-7 years without upgrading the CPU. GPU would need to be upgraded in 3-4 years time. Might add an extra 8GB of RAM in the future, just to give a bit of leeway and Windows 10 as it supports DX12. New keyboard when this one decides to give up on me, preferably a k70 (if that model is still out at the time of getting a new keyboard) my old mouse, the Roccat Kova+ lasted me 4.5 years.

Well done. Definitely future proof. Only complaints are with the power cables and cabling in general. Management needs a little work and if the PSU is fully modular, I'd get custom red/black cables

Cable management I wasn't really bothered about, I've done a bit, but it's sort of slumped next to the power supply out of view from the window.

I don't get it when people go to the effort of getting a modular power supply and a premium case, only to not bother with cable management. Spend 5 min on those cables and it will look bad *** - will also help with airflow! Otherwise, great job!

I wanted 27" IPS and this serves me well. Plus it has Displayport which is an added bonus!
