Part Reviews

CPU

Great CPU for the money. Good for budget builds like mine

Motherboard

Great Motherboard. Only problem is that it comes with only 1 fan header. Buy a cable splitter.

Storage

Does everything you would expect it to do.

Video Card

This GPU is Awesome. Runs everything at 1080p. Good for the money.

Case

Great Budget Case. Needs a little bit more cable management but it works.

Power Supply

Does what all Power Supplies do:)

Ehh, that g4400 isn't really a good buy, because it only has two cores. Sadly the g4560 is out of stock basically everywhere because of such high demand.

So true. G3258 reminisce anyone? Lol

LastSecondClutch 1 point 22 months ago

nope, no overclock XD

Jokin_Is_Here 1 point 22 months ago

g4400- hyperthreaded so you can say that it has 4 cores

Jokin_Is_Here 2 points 22 months ago

wait no nevermind

Man do I love budget builds. Not sure if you bought the parts before the G4560 came out, but that would be a better choice over g4400, also I would love to see more pics.

ChuckyLucky11 1 point 22 months ago

All the parts are good, but the g4560 has hyperthreading for only 3 dollars more.

Correction: Indeed but sadly it's been a while since the G4560 has been restock. They sold like hotcakes when I tried to purchase one at February 14th which thankfully I was able to get one. I been checking when they restock the G4560 but it's been a while now so I haven't seen any this month yet.

Plus I don't want to overpay on Newegg or Amazon since some sellers were trying to get $80 or more... even though some other online stores haven't alter price thankfully but they haven't restock either.

ChuckyLucky11 1 point 22 months ago

That's unfortunate that they're out of stock, because I'm trying to get enough money to buy a pc with a Pentium G4560.

Eltech 20 Builds 1 point 22 months ago

Yes, I wish I knew how the other online stores were. Right now Amazon shows one seller won't be able to restock until April 22nd. Though it's redonkulous for what the preorder amount is about $102. While Outlet seller on Amazon has them in stock but they are asking for $109.97... It's a headache right now because you aren't kidding about the popularity. I was honored to even get a taste of this processor and I can see why. It's just a shame on the pricing at the moment, so hopefully it gets better overtime.

The B&H right now is $69.99 (sales tax varies or maybe none) for those who want to back-order it. I'm not sure when the other online stores intend to restock but I hope it's reasonable still. Unless someone has a Microcenter / Fry's or whoever sells computer components who can get it for a better price down the road.

ChuckyLucky11 2 points 22 months ago

Thank you! I'm awfully surprised that they would charge $109.97 at amazon when a better i3 sells for the same price.

Eltech 20 Builds 1 point 22 months ago

No problem and exactly.

I think you did great on your build for your intended purposes. It sounds like you're having a pleasant gaming experience. Thank you for sharing and enjoy it! +1

FlyinToasteronie 1 point 22 months ago

I'm curious, why did you go with the tesseract?

maggotshero 10 Builds 3 points 22 months ago

Its a highly rated case for cheap. That's why, probably.

FlyinToasteronie 2 points 22 months ago

mATX mobo in an ATX case? I just don't think that it's the best idea, but hey, some people build HTPC's stronger than my dream gaming build!

maggotshero 10 Builds 2 points 22 months ago

Gives you plenty of airflow room. It's a cost effective case, so why not?

FlyinToasteronie 2 points 22 months ago

True. I don't like big cases because my room is 300x300 RIP

Orange_Power_Ranger 2 Builds 1 point 21 months ago

The Zotac 2GB is doing good for what I wanted it to do. I plan to upgrade to an I5 and 1060 6GB. I will post more pics in the future.
