Description

This was my first build in years. It's a hybrid budget pc for games.

I love the case. Plenty of ventilation and cable management. The handles are useful but not awkward.

I got a great deal on the processor, which is what started this whole thing in motion. Thank you Micro Center. Also used the boyfriends' video card from our pc part graveyard, a monitor w/built in speakers we already had and standard kb/mouse.

The stock processor fan is a bit loud. That still needs to be dealt with...

Um, how did we live before SSD's?

Still needs better cooling, keyboard, mouse, speakers but I think this is off to a pretty good start. Excited to overclock and benchmark.

Yeah, we already had those parts as well as the video card. The boyfriend is always upgrading his pc and I get his leftovers :)

Realistically:

$160 - This monitor $70 - OS $135 - (used video card, new $250)

$365ish +$660

$1025 Total cost if I had to start from scratch.
