Description

This is for gaming. I am not an everyday gamer and could not justify the i7 processor or a 780 graphics card. I play casually when I can. I already had the speakers and I had been looking at the monitor for about a year now.

Overall the build went well and it turned on the first time! The case I have is actually the Black and Red, not the Black and white as listed in the parts list but they didn't have the one I bought.... Only complaint is that I forgot I needed a trey for the 2.5 ssd so its just sitting in the case. Cord management was pretty easy and it looks pretty good. The LED on the motherboard is not too bright so it doesn't light up the room

Overall for a first build in a decade or so I am very happy... just need gaming keyboard and mouse now.

I couldn't be happier... and I got The Division for free :)

All in I was about 1200 (minus the monitor $235 at best buy). With this I got about 40 in instant rebates, the division for free, and another 75 in mail in rebates so the cost is less....

That PSU isn't really that great and it'll probably go out in a few years, plus, it's not made with that good of components. I'd recommend picking up a different one.

Its so I can.... 1. Maybe upgrade in the future 2. I dont overclock right now/know how to 3. the board has some kind of built in overclocking for locked chips 4. Came as a combo that was too good to pass up

I have the same CPU cooler, and the thing is a god. I don't know if it is like this for you, but for me when I turn it all the way up to max RPM it sounds like a mini jet engine taking off.

The PSU is not recommended for gaming builds but you should've got a EVGA G2 which is pricey but very good quality. I would of got an unlocked processor to pair up with the motherboard to overclock. But you're probably gonna upgrade ;) Good build tho
