Description

This was a Dell XPS 8300, that I have slowly added better parts too. I just added a SeaSonic, Samsung 840 Pro, and Patriot RAM. Next I'm adding a Haswell i7 and a GA-Z87X-UD4H Socket LGA 1150 Motherboard. Also please ignore my poor cable management, for now this is the it'll stay till i can change motherboards. Any other recommendation or comments are welcome. Will add more pictures later.

Also i have three Corsair SP120 Quite fans to add and a Phantek PH-TC14CS_BL 78.1 CFM CPU Cooler to add to a new motherboard.

The Dell HD 6670 runs at 900MHz GPU clock speed (overclocked) and 1150MHz Memory clock speed (overclocked) and idle at 40C and under load at 61C.

So this is what cable hell looks like.

Pretty decent parts. If you want to find out what you Optical drive is called, in vista, 7, & 8: windows key, type "device manager", press enter, and you should see it toward the top of your list under DVD/CD ROM drives

Just cause the case is bad on cable management doesn't mean you have to be. Use zip ties and try to bunch cables together and group them to the side.

O i have the back panel is where almost all of the cables are, because most are too long. Now the back panel wont go back on without a little force. this case would be better if there was a hole for the psu cables closer to where you mount the psu.

Ok. I just assumed this was a gaming build and since you're putting in all these high end parts, I thought you'd want something more than a 6670 :/

O don't worry after I upgrade to Haswell ill get a 7990 or a 780. The current GPU came with the dell that I upgraded off of.

That's a beautiful window. Slap some sexy LED's on there and you'll have a lightbox. Also, where's the GPU?
