Description

My little orange box project. I built this mainly for Steam gaming and to use Kodi. So far, so good, no problems. Absent in the pics are the Radeon R7 250 (for dual graphics) and the other memory stick which is still en route from NewEgg. I have an orange case fan for the rear of the case I will install as well once the rest of the parts get here.

So far I have been playing South Park and Borderlands on it and it runs like a champ. I was not going to spend a lot of money on this as it was just something I wanted to tinker with for htpc and some 1080 gaming on my tv, so I think I did ok considering what I did spend.

So does this run dual graphics? I have a pny gtx 760 enthusiast edition, and im thinking about adding it to my build but the only problem is that I have the a10 7870 also and I was wondering if it well be a good idea to just pare up the GPU with my APU or should I get a GPU that can run dual graphics or should I just buy an actual CPU and pair it with the GPU?

You'd probably get better results out of the gtx card then trying to pair a minimum of a r7 250 with the apu..maybe try to find some benchmarks to see what gets the better result, depends on what you are going to run too, for my more or less basic type of gaming needs, the dual graphics is well enough.

Update: Since installing the video card, it sounds like a plane taking off under load, may look into something quieter or dampening material on the case..not sure...

How much height clearance is there for CPU cooler? I just bought this case and hoping my monster Zalman cooler will fit in it, or at least my old EVO.

Great theme! +1

So this case can fit a 140mm fan? Interesting. I had trouble finding the exact specs for the rear fan, and what I found said 120mm. I want to get the white version with the blue led and put an orange fan on the back and make a Portal cube, with the Aperture logo painted on the front grill and all ;)
