Description

I use this beast for everything, and it handles everything. Haven't run into any major issues yet but I'll soon be adding a 200mm blue LED side fan, and getting a better CPU cooler, especially since OC'ing. One thing I did notice about the case, is the fact that sometimes under stress, the whole thing will vibrate a little and the side panel actually makes a lot of annoying noise from that. Otherwise, all is well. Thinking of sticking sound-controlled lights in there too... :D

Edit 11/2013 -- Added 200mm Cooler Master blue LED fans to the side and top, and upgraded the cooler. Everything is still running well and I'm soon expecting to install a 3TB drive and second graphics card in SLI since prices have gone way down. As for the vibrations, seems like that's just a thing of the past. Now have a second monitor, thinking about getting a third. Got a new Cooler Master mechanical keyboard and Anker mouse, the mouse is yet to be added to PPP's database.

Rather odd SSD choice. I'm guessing boot drive?

Why the sound card?

Because some people like their games and music to sound good.

A friend and I bought them for each other last Christmas, plus being an audiophile I want good sound. :P haha

I got that same mouse at a little computer shop years ago! Shame about the shaking though. I think that case looks nice in this build. Nice one on the sound card, I'm also kinda an audiophile.

Hey if you play any FPS games, how do you like that monitor for them? Happy with it or would of went for another?

Personally I really enjoy it, haven't had any issues so far. I like to keep it on the "Theater" mode preset thing, it's the most vibrant without getting TOO juicy. But if you can go IPS.... go IPS.

I wanna say it's a cold cathode light, but like you, I don't see any wires..

It's a mystery! :O

It's lighting. If you zoom in on the top, there appears to be a black wire coming out.

Actually it was lighting, sound-activated. I've since removed it tho.
