That is seriously the cleanest RGB I've ever seen. Really well done. And good to know he's using it for high refresh rates on Youtube. ;D

SwiftSeb submitter 6 Builds 3 points 4 months ago

Appreciate it a lot, spent a while with the wiring for those fans, definitely worth the result imo.

Radox-0 5 Builds 2 points 4 months ago

I usually prefer uniform RGB, but this is one of the occasions I really like Rainbow RGB. That side on the GPU match's the Evolv X's strip so nicely. Would have loved to see more pics! But great work either way!

SwiftSeb submitter 6 Builds 1 point 4 months ago

likewise, looks good in this circumstance

HasakiKid 2 points 4 months ago

sweet jesus my eyes have gone blind. It's too good +1. The rainbow isn't overkill for once

SwiftSeb submitter 6 Builds 1 point 4 months ago

cheers man

JJAMSUPER 1 Build 1 point 4 months ago

SwiftSeb submitter 6 Builds 1 point 4 months ago

SwiftSeb submitter 6 Builds 1 point 4 months ago

sure thing, and the monitor choice was my friends :P

blockbuster4664 1 Build 1 point 4 months ago

Probably the most tasteful implementation of RGB I’ve seen in a while. How did you get your hands on an Evolv X?

SwiftSeb submitter 6 Builds 1 point 4 months ago

amazon, there were very few at the time

DragionTech 1 Build 1 point 4 months ago

KarapagasLT 1 point 4 months ago

SwiftSeb submitter 6 Builds 1 point 4 months ago

what's that

KarapagasLT 1 point 4 months ago

Sorry i meant the case Corsair 570X, what made you choose yours over that,i dont know which i want for more rgb

SwiftSeb submitter 6 Builds 1 point 4 months ago

570x is a bit cheaper and more avaliable, so whatever, its all opinion anyway :P

Gotta ask...I'm planning on using this case myself, but I have a couple of questions;

How are the airflow and cable management in this case? I'm a beginner and I want an easy-ish experience.

Where would one put the Hard Drives in this case? I don't see a drive slot in the front.

Thanks!

:}

SwiftSeb submitter 6 Builds 1 point 4 months ago

Ok, coming from a slightly more experienced builder. I have built in easier cases in terms of size and weight such as the fractal design define series. Although for its size and caliber this was in no means difficult. The installation should fairly simple and straight forward, with easy to remove fan/radiator brackets and cable ties around the back, everything is made to make the experience easier for you.

In terms of cable management, the components I was given to put inside looked as if the end result would be impossible to look clean, but thanks to the channels on the back and some panels to cover the cables, everything is flawless. No worries there.

The airflow is much improved in this case upon previous iterations and so it has been brought up the the standard of many good airflow designs, although I'm sure its clear that the case is designed primarily for aesthetics, you can feel very comfortable going for components that require large amount of cooling and active airflow. Basically the airflow is good.

In the basement area of the case there is space for you to install 2 full size 3.4 inch HDD and inside the back cabling area and cover panels is space for 9 SSD's. If you need more storage you can go to Phanteks website and order separate HDD cages which then attach to the front main area. Link for the extra drive cages: http://www.phanteks.com/PH-HDDKT3.html

Hope I managed to help you out, Good luck :)

Does this case have enough clearance at the top for a push pull radiator configuration

SwiftSeb submitter 6 Builds 1 point 4 months ago

I'm not sure about push/pull on the top, but you can definitely do it on the front for sure :)

e1543 1 point 3 months ago

Did you have to get a special mounting bracket to mount the AIO upside down onto the CPU or did it fit without one? Looking into a mitx build and want to use RGB ram but don't have enough to clearance with it standard

SwiftSeb submitter 6 Builds 1 point 3 months ago

Step 1: Rotate 180 degrees Step 2: Finished

e1543 1 point 3 months ago

Sweet! Thanks!

Really love the z370-e mobo. Too bad its all out of stock

SwiftSeb submitter 6 Builds 1 point 3 months ago

alot of these parts are out of stock because of the holidays, luckily when this was built everything was only just about to go out of stock :)

ASenileAsianMan 1 point 3 months ago

Damn that’s too bad. Nice build tho

VictoriusII 1 point 3 months ago

What do you think of the monitors screen colors? I'm looking to buy a 240hz monitor and i want one with decent colors.

SwiftSeb submitter 6 Builds 0 points 3 months ago

This build was for my friend, he will have more experience with the monitor than me, although I can talk from the perspective from when we used the pc after have built it, with his 240hz monitor there. I was surprised to see that the monitor was advertised as TN since I thought the colour representation was close to that of a IPS panel. This was in comparison to my asus 144hz TN monitor. I have spent a while trying to modify the colours of my TN panel to look acceptable with IC profiles and everything. The Alienware monitor seemed to have great looking colour out of the box, and i doubt you would have any issues with the colour on this monitor. Very impressive for a TN panel. Must be one of the best out there.

VictoriusII 1 point 2 months ago

Thanks! I think im gonna buy the alienware.

SwiftSeb submitter 6 Builds 1 point 2 months ago

Glad to hear it man, have fun

blake230606 1 Build 1 point 2 months ago

Have you had any problems with the GPU temps or problems with it in general

SwiftSeb submitter 6 Builds 1 point 2 months ago

No issues, luckily this card wasn't affected by the 'first batch' artefact problem. If you buy a 2080ti now, then you will most likely not be in danger of getting a damaged card.

L3R0YJ3NK1N5 1 point 2 months ago

Wow!!! I'm loving the whole look of this built. Really impressed. I'm about to venture on my first built soon and I may have to mimic this one. Great job!!!

SwiftSeb submitter 6 Builds 1 point 2 months ago

Appreciate it and good luck!

ecogamer414 1 point 2 months ago

saw your post on the quad sli build but yours is better

SwiftSeb submitter 6 Builds 1 point 2 months ago

means alot, thanks man :))

DM39 1 point 1 month ago

Hi, any problems with replacing fans on x52? i have read, that they won't spin until you ran CAM

SwiftSeb submitter 6 Builds 1 point 1 month ago

nope

James850 1 point 26 days ago

I want to say this is an amazing build and has inspired me to build a similar one to this. Though what is that keyboard man? I've been searching for a TKL keyboard that has good switches that looks decent.

SwiftSeb submitter 6 Builds 1 point 25 days ago

First of all thanks, I'm also glad how it turned out :). The keyboard is a corsair k65, but has recently been swapped out for a logitech g pro, which seems to be better.
