Description

This is my first build. PcPartpicker was my one of my main resources in researching for this build, so i figured it would post mine once if finished. This is mainly going to be my PS4 replacement. I figured this gen I would try out a Gaming PC to see what it is all about. I have it hooked up in the living room to a 55" Samsung LED tv.

Build went pretty well. I feel like all of the research I did on here and other places really helped me be prepared for it!

Planning on adding a SSD and a Gaming mouse and keyboard at some point down the road.

Got most of the parts at Microcenter. Cant beat the CPU and Mobo deal!!

Also the wife made me get the Blue Fans for the front of the case!!

Very, very nice rig, especially for a first timer. Gotta love those Microcenter deals, that mobo price is crazy. Nice job! +1

I would suggest watching that board carefully. Any sign of temperature wackiness or SATA failures you should RMA quickly. It has a sketchy legacy. Many have no problems, but quite a few have had major failures of this mobo.

Aside from that, nice build.

Good for a first timer, i would say aswell watch that mobo and a z87 chipset would give you more flexibility for overclocking
