Description

This PC is used for everything. I use it for gaming, producing music, streaming.

I went for a black/red scheme for everything, with white LEDs to make it less dark.

At the moment there's an i5-4690 in it, but that's supposed to be an i7-4790K which will come next month or the month after. Since this doesn't change the overal aesthetics of the PC and it's still (in my opinion) a great build, I'm sharing it with you.

I do plan on changing the fans to Bitfenix Spectre Pro with red LEDs and adding a few more Bitfenix Alchemy LED strips.

I decided on a mATX build as soon as I saw the case, I fell in love with it, haha. And to be honest, this build is only gonna be expanded by another GTX970 which'll easily fit. And it also supports custom watercooling if ever need be.

But let's be honest: Why would you need a bigger case? This fits right on my desk, looks pretty, and fits everything that's needed. :)

Third Charizard theme build on the site. Nice!

How loud has H100i been for you?

It's been pretty, at moment the Scythe fans on the right are the loudest, I need to replace those, after that I'll know how loud the H100i GTX actually is lol

What did you do in the second picture (where charizard is displayed)? Is it a small display, cutout, etc?

That's an ICON display. It comes with the newer Bitfenix cases. It's included in the Aegis and the Pandora. There are also Core cases that don't include the ICON displays.

It's basically a small LCD display that you can put whatever picture you want on.

I'm thinking of getting the Aegis too, a white one. So I have a few questions. You added 3 120mm in the front and I'm wondering what the volume level is as well as temperatures? Next question is about the alchemy strip. I"m thinking of going for the same one, you chose 15cm, would you say that's more than enough?

Sorry for the late response, I've been away.

The volume levels all depend on the fans you decide on, plus the CPU cooler you're using.

I'm using 4 Bitfenix Spectre Pro (red LEDs) in total and those are surprisingly quiet. However, my CPU cooler is very loud. I have an average of 32 degrees Celcius on the mobo.

15CM should be plenty if you decide to just light it up from one side, like I did. If you wanna light it up from two angles, I would get 2x15s, so you'll have a bit more freedom of placing them. :)

Because it's the CPU that was in my old rig. :)

That makes sense or you would have wasted money on that motherboard
