Description

P.S. This was built last year around Sept/Oct Time.

The Story: Hey guys,

I haven't posted a completed build since my first build which was posted around Christmas of 2013. Since then I have upgraded my first personal build and built two PC's for my friends. This happens to be the 2nd PC for a friend.. I don't happen to know him in person but we met through other online friends and ended up bonding over minecraft server ownership/MC hosting. We became good friends and he made quite a bit of money off of server donations so he asked me to build him a PC since he did messed up the first PC he built. Although we live 1000+ miles away I accepted the offer and he trusted me enough to send the parts and have me build it then send it to him. Till this day we are still good friends !

CPU: Alright I'm sure I will see some comments why the overkill on the CPU. Well at the time they had a sale for it and it was close to $200 which was the price of the 8350 that I was planning on putting in this rig. So I decided to choose the 9370 for future use, and since it was on sale.

CPU COOLER: Had a H100i in my first PC and loved it. It isn't loud, looks nice, and has some sweet LED's

MotherBoard: He really wanted this board since he had heard that this was a good motherboard from friends of his, so in that case he wouldn't really budge on it.

Ram: Decided to go with 16gb since it is plenty for what he wanted to do on the PC. Gaming/Editing and the blue ram compliments the blue motherboard.

SDD: Can't go wrong with an SSD, must have one in almost every build these days. It was on sale at that time since the new Crucial series had come out. Boot/small games

HDD: 1TB to store pics/docs/games/etc/etc

GPU: Why didn't you go with the 900 series? I build this a month before they came out and he didn't want to wait. This card still runs every game at 60+ FPS on Ultra.

Case: Yes this case is super expensive, but he really liked the case and wanted the PC to look nice as well as be kickass.

PSU: 750W is a perfect amount for this build. Nothing more nothing less.

Windows: He wanted windows 7 since he is familiar with it.

Any questions just ask. Also Idk if I should ask this here... But if anyone is in to Camera's could you recommend me a good DSLR/SLR for under $700 with the Body/Lens. This is the one I was interested in http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CXWMOZW/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A95EMXEZ1HCL9

Thanks!

Why did you put the graphics card in the second slot?

I just checked the motherboard manual and it states that the second slot is only wired for x8. If your friend want the most out of that card he/she needs to move it to the top slot.

I tossed it in there quick for pictures, my mistake. The card had been taken out right before I was about to send it because I didn't want it to be damaged..

"QQ 9370. QQ Graphics in wrong slot. QQ amd at this price point"

You did a great job tho bro, this build be on fleek. and yea if I say a 9370 for that low I'd definitely hop on it.

The graphics card wasn't originally in that slot.. I put it there only for pictures cause I was in a rush, I took these pictures the day of shipment an hour before my local Pack n Ship was about to close.
