My 4770k motherboard dies so I built a new computer.
The GPU is a 1080 GTX since the successor to the 2080ti isn't out yet.
Nice build. I am just wondering though, what are the fan grills for? I don't really know their function so that's why I am asking, not trying to be rude or anything.
From what I’ve seen and worked with on any device, they seem to catch the dust bunnies quite nicely and it’s just remove to clean instead of having all that dust go inside the internals also prevents loose wires or stuff from binding on the propellers of the fans I believe.
that is a benefit but not the primary goal of the fan grills, also the case is relatively sealed from dust as the front filters do a great job and the top filter is blocked physically.
The grill is in place to protect my poor fingers from damaging the fan blades.
The graphics card the pictures do not match the card you say to have
You are exactly right, I didnt think anyone would comment on my computer lol! I do not have the 2080ti purchased yet as I am waiting to see if the march launch window for a 2080ti successor is going to happen. my current card is an EVGA 1080 FTW3, non ti. Thanks for checking out the build!
Oh ok, thanks for the clarification, other then that great build!
Pretty sure you got just a regular FTW or just plain 1080 iCX.
