Description

Hey Guys. I started this build about 8 months ago. Overtime I bought parts here and there. I wanted a Moderate Gaming when I started the Build and that's what I got. For My First build I think I did ok. I had a little problem with Nvida trying to install the drivers and stuff but now its working properly now.

Why is your PSU facing upwards? It's pulling cool air away from the GPU.

I didn't realize it matted. I will fix that later today

It's probably not a huge deal. I just read up on it a bit. It seems this orientation can impact CPU temperatures more than GPU temperatures. Considering you have two fans exhausting air on the top of your case that might not be an issue. But you could always run tests and see what works best for you.

His case is on a carpet so it might be better if its facing upward in this situation.

Is this case with it?

great setup and all. what would make it better is a mouse pad, green mouse(Razer) and a green backlit keyboard. the cm storm devastator kit is good for the price and looks great. the down fall is that its not mechanical

How has this build been treating you? I'm sitting on an evga 500watt psu and evga 750ti. It was incompatible to upgrade my new system so now I'm building a whole PC off the new parts. My search has lead me to a good priced combo for that mobo and CPU with some ram on newegg. What games have you played on this build at what settings? Any other comments you can provide??

It been good. its able to Render 15 min long videos in about 10 min. I'm thinking about getting the MSI 970 Gaming board for $90 and possibly upgrading my gpu and some more ram. I'm able to play almost very game at 60 FPS with my GPU and CPU overlocked

You could have gotten 2 more cores for an extra $20 and OC'd them to become behemoths, and you could have put a few more dollars into a stronger GPU, but other than that, great build!
