Description

I built this computer mainly for gaming, but I do use it to convert video and surf the Web. This build isn't to bad at $1000 I have put into it overall. At the light over clock that I have this set at, I run BF4 on ultra everything at 60FPS.

Let me know what you guys think. First time I've used a website like this before. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

The 270 will have the same performance as the 270x when overclocked, so you could've saved some money there. Also, the 6350 is the same as the 6300 only with a higher factory clock so you could also have saved some money there by just getting the 6300. Judging by the liquid cooler you have you were planning to overclock anyway. The PSU by the way is going to make your computer go boom. Get rid of that thing.

Thank you for the advice. I plan on upgrading my PSU as soon as I get the money for it. his computer started out as a $300 dollar build over a year ago, and I have just been upgrading all of my parts one by one.

I think that you spent too much on the case you could have spent more on the graphic card like getting a 280X/770 or even a 290 please clean the cables at the top of the case near the liquid cooler

But other than that it is a good build +1

I really just thought that the case looked awesome. Tons of space for the custom double res. loop I plan on doing in the near future.

Yeah, um, your PSU is going to kill your computer. Please get a new one immediately, I hate to see peoples' computers die just because they didn't do a lot of research :(

I thank you for looking out, but so far I have had this PSU for over a year and have had no problems with it so far. I am currently saving my money for the new PSU and a SSD to put my OS on.

Very nice build, don't be afraid to overclock that processor. I use the same processor and motherboard being cooled on hyper 212 +, I'm 27'C idle, and 49'C load for 10 hrs stress test. Overclocked at 4.6ghz 1.38v. Give it a run!

Did you seriously spend $200 on a case just to get a budget CPU and a terrible PSU? You also spent way too much on your RAM, and your HDD would be way more useful (and cheaper) as a 1TB 7200RPM, unless you really need space I guess.

You should really consider replacing that PSU as soon as possible, whether or not you can get a refund on it.

Actually got the can for $150 on sale at Newegg. But I got it for all of the liquid cooling I'm working on next.

Considering that i started this build 1 year ago and it stated as a $300 dollar build. I've just been buying piece by piece since then.
