Description

Not a big gamer so the GPU will have to wait. At first I couldn't get to the BIOS because I couldn't get a display. Reset the CMOS and swapped the HDMI cable and everything started to work great.

If you don't play games, you can just get like a gt 710 for video output.

sorry for the assumption but yeah the iGPU is perfectly fine for cpu based gaming until you get a dedicated gpu

Yea? Thanks I'll check it out. I didn't plan to spend as much as I did but I was able to find all the parts from tax free sites so I splurged a little. Now that I got everything working I'll look into a video output.

Nice build! I'm actually building a pc near the exact same but with a rtx 2060. How was the motherboard cause I'm debating towards this or the auros master.

I can’t speak on his motherboard but I have the Aorus Master on my build (haven’t updated on PCPP) and it’s fantastic. Some people complain about the bios being clunky but it’s really simple. Aesthetically and performance wise it is amazing. Again, I can’t speak for the ASUS board specifically.

Thanks I'm trying to sell my current pc to pay for the motherboard but obviously the wrong time of year

Aside from the hiccup in the beginning, still not sure what caused my initial boot issues. I think it's great.

CONGRATS ON YOUR FIRST BUILD !!

You're not a BIG gamer .… but you game ?

Don't look at this as a Gamer's website but more as a PERSON THAT WANTS THEIR BUILD TO LAST while working good for them website. Sure, gamers need that …. but this isn't a gamers site.

U noticed you have 2 1/2 TB of storage...… What do you plan on using that for ?

My dad has around 6tb's in his PC, yet he doesn't game. You probably jump to some conclusion about his job or what he does. It is into even related to what his profession is, he just has lots of random files.

Thanks! SSD for boot and the HDD for everything else. It doesn't hurt to have room for growth ;)

As the initial description states..not a gamer. I have no main use for it. It's there for when I need it.
