Description

Hey there!

This project started mainly because of the motherboard color, and I was also tired of the over used red and black "gaming" color schemes. With that in mind I then scouted for the parts that would look great in this build without too much of modding. The Ram was a no brainer to me because of being one of the few gold Ram modules on the market and the price was a steal. I also decided to paint the Corsair AF&SP fans Gold, using the white rings as a base so that the paint wouldn't have a though time showing throw and also be the right shade. Next I decided to paint the cable management bar to really make it stand out. I personally think it looks awesome, clean and classy, even more with all the black parts that compliment it quite fine. I did not want to go crazy-everything-gold, so for example the SSD trays are not painted as well as the power supply chamber .I think less is more which makes it look subtle and clean. I also added a 2m (6.6’) warm white LED strip inside of the case. This gives it a very slight yellow glow and brings out the gold even more, an effect I like quite much. The LED's are 5v so they're more or less stay on even when the computer is off but I can always hit the switch on the power supply to have them off. As a final result, I am satisfied and I love the look. I think I could have gone with some custom braided cables and maybe the Asus gold edition graphics card but there's room to explore and upgrade which i'm totally fine with. Let me know what you think in the comment section below. Would really appreciate your feed back and suggestions.
