Description

First time building a computer, figured black Friday would be a great time to get some deep discounts on some parts. Build was to replace an old laptop that cannot handle anything anymore and will handle VR, Note that graphics will be updated to the 30 series when released, I just right now don’t think the 20 series is worth the price compared to a previous series. I have a firecuda 1 TB 2.5 inch drive that I’m transferring over from an old laptop that I had to replace. I don’t ever plan to overclock this build, plan just to leave it alone and let it do it’s thing, I just know there’s certain components that I wanted to over build on for quality and just to quiet down the PC. Some of the components were probably overkill and I could have saved money and got lower tier components and put that money els but to get a decent gaming laptop would roughly have been around the price so that was my budget between 900 to 1200, but we can thank Black Friday for savings and build being cheaper.

UPGRADED SYSTEM WITH ASUS TUF 1650 SUPER GPU (Not pictured yet)

Eventual upgrades -Upgrade existing fans on tower case. -Upgrade HD to SSD or sata 3 3.0. -Upgrade graphics card to 30 series when released.

These components aren't overkill at all, but they're still a great bang for your buck. I'd probably upgrade that GPU before anything. Great job!

Lol well that good to know, that is my plan down the road to upgrade to the 30 series, I just can’t justify the performance gains for the cards that are out right now.

Honestly, the 1650s performs really well for it's price point

I am planning on building a new PC with the same motherboard and case. I read some reviews and some of them complained about the front fan cords not being long enough to hook into the motherboard. Did you have any trouble with the length of the front fan cords at all?

The only issue and its not really a issue was the back of the case fan cord was short, the two giant fans have way more then enough wiring for this motherboard.I also have then in the triple splitter it came with so maybe thats something that they were not using.

The GPU is not a good value because an RX 570 or an RX 580 would be much better.

He Probably thinks it is underpowered for your build and can not be bothered to actually read the description.
