Description

This build was for my friend who want nice machine for video editing and a little gaming.

Some more info for the parts selection.

The case I absolutely love and its the best case I used so far and for $75 its no brainer.

Memory it was leftovers when those prices wasn't that high.

SSD I choose the best available because his price range was up to 1500$

If I build a gaming only PC I would choose 7870XT but he don't play that much and for the price it run perfect quite and 60C under Furmark load.

PSU I had here that I got on sale and its almost identical to Seasonic S12-II and it run just fine just those long cable was a pain to hide but thx to a good case it wasn't that bad.

I put extra fan 120mm only because it was lying around and it cool the HDD a little and add a little more intake and it was from a 4 pack I got on sale.

Very clean build and I like your explanations of the part choices.

I have the same motherboard! 84 dollars was a really good price you got for it.

It was Microcenter open box + a rebate so it was couple buck cheaper then a new with combo discount.

R4 case looks clean and awesome!

I would have gotten a cheaper SSD and a more powerful GPU.

He not gonna play much so expensive GPU will be a waste of money and the SSD was on sale for 187$ just 3 days after I order it :(

The 840 pro is the best ssd on the market. Why should he get a worse one?

Yes he wanted the pc build as fast as possible so I didn't return the one I bought for 220. Its just the bad luck.
