Description

About six months later I finally decided I should upload my build. This was my first time building a computer and a lot of it was very new to me. Before I started I didn't know much about PC gaming or about building computers in general. It was a great experience and I already want to build another if only I had the money.

Before anyone says anything about the stock cooler, I am looking to upgrade my CPU and get a water cooler when I get some extra cash.

I am also looking to upgrade my RAM, keyboard, and mouse.

If anyone has any comments or questions I would love to hear them

Thanks!

Should've gone pascal and skyla- Jk. Hell, this build along with the entire setup is SICK. Love the monitor, I have it too! Nice to see those Riing fans. +1, dude.

The fan on the back is currently positioned as an intake fan, you should flip it around. As a rule of thumb, the side of the fan with the sticker/cable is the direction that the air will flow. Still, this build is fantastic.

I'm getting a water cooler soon

I don't see the point in water cooling personally. The CPU is locked and the fan is efficient on its own.

Looks great! I would just suggest some cable combs to make the interior super-clean :) but love the lighting

Your exhaust fan is backwards, otherwise it looks great!

That's called an intake fan dear...

You can cut the sarcasm, kid. No one does that on purpose and in my observations on this site it's usually inexperienced people that don't understand how to orient their fans.

It's a rather odd choice considering that case should have 3 intake fans at the front. You're pulling in air from the front and back and exhausting it from the top when the airflow should be directed out of the top and the back.

Ohh clam down! Someone can't take a joke, obviously. Oh, and please don't call me "kid".

There's joking around, and there's being a tool for no reason.

Nothing wrong with the stock cooler. It might not look great but it definitely gets the job done.

Nice build. I enjoy the liberal application of LEDs. :D +1

How's the CPU working out? I'm thinking about getting one myself but I can't decide between that or a 4690k. My first reaction would be to get the 4690k but I'm kind of on a budget.

I was in the same position as you and honestly i think the 4460 works fine for what I do. If i had the chance to go back i might have went with the 4690k but overall I'm happy with mine.

So what exactly is the lighting around the case mirror? Come with case or?? Sorry if this is stupid question or if it was already answered.

Great build. One question though, can you connect the riing connector/hub to the fan hub included in the case or is it only supposed to be connected to the mobo fan header?
