Description

Built this one in December because I was bored and came across another deal I couldn't pass up. Got the processor, motherboard, memory and videocard for $580 brand new. All said and done it only cost $1060 or so. Built it, ran a few benchmarks and sold it. A nice older couple bought it as a X-mas present for their son....Lucky kid.

I spent 1000$. Why? Because I was bored. Lol I know the feeling of needing to build more PCs every day :D

I'm getting the itch again lol, but I think I'm going to wait until November to see what kind of crazy deals come around.

They bought it in January as a late present, or just now and they're saving it until December?

You should come over my house sometime. I'll make sure you get REALLY bored and build me a boredom system with 3 titans.

The combo price? Was looking through the Kijiji classifieds, guy was selling the setup for $580, it seemed to good to be true. Went and grabbed the parts, everything was sealed except for the motherboard. Seems I have pretty good luck

I sold the computer for just under $1200 if I remember correctly. The couple was very nice, and they were trying to make their kid happy on a budget. Wanna hear lucky? In June I drove past a church "garage" sale, saw four computers on a table and figured I would check them out. Turns out they were all Mid-2007 to 2008 rigs all suited with Core2Duo's/AMD X2 Cpus, higher end mobos and decent video cards. Got them all for $100 as a set, sold them separately for $600.

Seriously, if your in Canada and are familiar with Kijiji classifieds take a look once or twice a day. You would be surprised at the stuff you will find. I've bought a computer one day, clean it up and format it that night, and have tit sold the next day(on the same classifieds site)for $150 plus in my pocket. Just remember the sweet spot seems to be $700 or less on a computer, new OR used.
