STORY TIME!!!!!!!!!!! (For actual description, scroll below the story)
Me: Friend updates his current build Hey, remember that PC build I came up with a long time ago?
Friend: Ya. What about it?
Me: I think I'm gonna build it!
Me: Looks at old build that cost $1.5k Ok, maybe not....
Friend: Dude! I found this 780ti for $75!
Me: Holy Crap! Creates build around that 780ti Man... That's still $800
Friend: Why don't you just buy all your parts used or factory refurbished?
Me: That's a great idea! I mean, as long as they are working, it's not like their performance goes down with more use.
Me: Creates a build using a used AMD FX-6300 CPU, a used Asus 970 PRO GAMING/AURA motherboard, a used GeForce GTX 780ti, and all other used parts This isn't too bad. Only $482 for what should be $820.
Friend: Why did you get an AMD CPU?
Me: Because I did some research on Intel vs. AMD, and it turns out AMD CPU's are just as good, but way cheaper.
Friend: Well, I found out that Intel Xeon's can outperform an i7, and that they are on Ebay for only $30
Me: Still chooses to go with the AMD FX-6300
Friend: Why didn't you chooses the Xeon?
Me: Because I don't know if a CPU from the 2000's can outperform a CPU from the 2011's.
Friend: Sends me a video where the Xeon outperforms an i7 in a couple of newer, heavy games
Me: Checks at the $75 780ti, realizes that the price is now $875, and get really disappointed, so I tell my friend
Me: Dang! I know what my new CPU is gonna be!
Friend: Sends me link to an Intel Xeon X5650 for $28.50
Me: I'll put it in the build
Friend: sends me a link to a cheap Intel motherboard that's compatible with the Xeon since all the ones I found were expensive There's only one left, so you better buy it quickly.
Me: I don't know about buying it yet since I don't even have all the rest of the parts picked out or all the money.
Me: Spends one hour thinking about it Whatever. I'll buy it. This thing is cheaper than it should, so if I don't end up using it, I can just sell it and make a little money.
Me: Buys motherboard
Me: Thanks for helping me out.
Friend: No problem.
Me: Completes the build by finding cheap parts that are compatible
Me: Build is complete. Now all I have to do is earn $500
Friend: Sweet. Good luck!
Me: Grinds over several days to earn $250 (I already had $250 that I got from birthdays over the years)
Me: Alright... I got the dough!
Friend: Cool! You gonna buy the parts?
Me: Nah. I'm about to leave for vacation, so I'm gonna wait until after we get back to buy them. The only thing I'm gonna buy now, is the GPU, since it's an auction, and it's ending soon.
Friend: Cool.
Me: Goes on vacation
Me: Buys GPU during vacation and also ends up buying ram during vacation
Family: Why are you buying/building a new computer when you have a perfectly good one?
Me: Because this one will be way better, and way cheaper.
Brother: Has the laptop you have now ever not been able to perform well on a game?
Me: Not really... I mean, the only trouble it has is with Just Cause 3 and the Forest.
Brother: Then why are you buying/building another one?
Me: Begins the rethink building the build Begins to change my mind
Me: Well crap, I have already spent $300, I'm kind of committed... dang... I guess I'll all the parts, and if I don't build this computer, I'll sell them.
Me: Get's back from vacation
Me: Does the math and finds out I'm $10 short
Friend: So you gonna buy the rest of the parts now?
Me: Nah. I'm $10 short, so I'm gonna earn that, then buy them.
Friend: You just wanna borrow it from me?
Me: Nah, it's only $10, I'll earn it.
Me: Earns $10
Me: Buys the rest of the parts
Me: I bought them! The build is mostly complete!
Friend: Sweet!
Me: Yep. Now all I have to do is build it.
Friend: When you do, can I come over to help?
Me: Sure, I'll let you know when.
Time goes on and all the parts arrive
Me: You available this weekend? I'm gonna assemble my computer.
Friend: Ya, I'll be there.
Us: Assembles computer and Tests computer It works!!!!
Me: Thank for the help!
Friend: No problem!
And that, my friends, is how my build came to be!!!!!
Note: HUGE thanks to my friend, Matthew, for helping me out with this build. He helped me with research, helped pick out a few parts, and, even though I declined it, also offered to let me borrow some of his money so I could pay for it.

Description:
All parts were purchased off eBay, except the CPU cooler (NEWEGG), Case(USB 2.0 @ Amazon), operating system (Some Asian website), PSU(Amazon), and keyboard (Amazon)
I'm only 14, so my budget build had to be super budgeted. With a limit of what started as $400, but then grew to $500, I had to keep stuff cheap. Let me tell ya, eBay will do the trick. Stuff that should be $100, you can get for $75-$50, it's amazing!
I use this build for gaming and video editing, but it could also be used for work.
I hope this build helps out someone like me; Someone who had a dream of building a custom pc and looked at budget builds here on pcpartpicker, but only got builds that were under $600 because the creator already had a hard drive, ram, and motherboard (or stuff like that). So go eBay exploring and find you a cheap, but awesome, PC!

Update 12/24/2017- I received the Razer Kraken 7.1 V2's as a Christmas present
+-------------------------------------------------------+
Update 4/12/2017- I was able to overclock it to 3.8GHz with 1.35V
+-------------------------------------------------------+
Update 4/11/2017- I was able to overclock it to 3.45GHz with 1.3375V
+-------------------------------------------------------+
Update 4/5/2017- I worked on cable management (rerouted the GPU power cable and a few other minor cables) and I switched the blue SATA cable with a red one so it doesn't look so out of place
Perfect cooler. Cheap, quiet, and effective.
What can I say, ram is ram... Runs well, heat-spreaders are effective, and these sticks look good (especially with a blue mobo)
Quick and has plenty of storage for a gaming build. Low price makes it perfect for budget builds (eBay)
One word... SEXY
Looks amazing. Great for the price, runs most games excellent
Plenty of space, was able to fit a 12" GPU (Sapphire R9 290 Tri-X) inside this case. Looks great and has decent cable management, even with my non-modular PSU
Pros:
•This thing is quiet (or I just can't hear it over my other fans)
•Powers my computer well
•Looks good
Cons:
•Nothing too major
I don't know what the fuss over Windows 10 is. I love it; It runs fast, looks good, isn't very confusing, and does what an OS should without any problems (that I have found)
The most satisfying thing ever? Clicking a mechanical keyboard for the first time!!!!!!
Thing looks great, sounds great, and is quick. Perfect for the price!!!
Great for gaming. Not too many buttons, but not too little buttons. Love that the buttons are customizable. Feels great, looks great.
