Description

This is my very first self build pc and I must say, it turned out pretty good in my opinion. I use it mainly for gaming but I also will be using it to produce/record music. I didn't really want to cheap out too much, i wanted to be set for the coming years. Gone for a black/red color scheme.

Overall I'm happy with it. But I wouldn't mind getting a different case any time soon as I actually want my radiator at the top instead of the front. I haven't really done any cable management as of yet because some of my cable combs broke in half. Next time I'm going to order those alluminium cable clips from nanoxia.

At first I went with the Antec h1200 pro wich I bought really cheap from a friend of mine, but didn't like the look of the pump so I've bought the Kraken x52 and I definitely not regret buying it. The Antec cooler had really stiff pipes, while the kraken's are quite bendy compared to the antec.

For a first build that is some alright cable management. My first build looked like the Amazon Jungle with all those wires.

It doesn't look too bad in my opinion, but i like it to look clean and such and this is far from it. I also got an amazon jungle, just not visible. Hell, I even had a struggle to get my side panel back on it. But still, the end result is beyond what i've expected.

If you're going to record and produce music, why not get an R5 1600 instead of a 7700K? Then you could spend 100 more for a better GPU. 1080 + 1600 >1070 + 7700K, for virtually the same price (If not cheaper, due to the inflated GTX 1070 prices)

After a bad AMD experience I'd rather not. I use it mainly for gaming, the music production is a side thing, more a hobby. The 7700K does it's job perfectly

I bought it off ebay, just search for "thermometer molex" and several should come up. They're quite cheap. You can place the sensor anywhere you'd like
