Description

I built this as a workstation/gaming mix it had to be able to run cs at a good enough speed to be able to record gameplay and also be able to render and edit at fast speeds. I chose this processor and cooler because it can be overclocked which i have done to a steady 4.7 ghz at a cool temperature.

Nice overclock - may I ask what your voltage is set at? And is 45 C under load at this clock speed?

Really?? My understanding was that the "max" voltage for Vishera was 1.55v? And, even at that voltage it is not recommended and likely not stable. I have been seeing Voltage settings between 1.38-1.45 stable in the range of 4.5-4.8GHz. If you are at 1.6 I am surprised you haven't fried the chip yet, unless you got the craziest silicon lotto win to date!
