Description

My brother needed a new computer since his crashed after 7 years. Finally it was too damn slow. I haven't run any benchmarks yet but it handles Skyrim and Minecraft fine.

The case I got for 50 after rebate and the PSU is overkill but it was a leftover from my build since i switched. The Ram was also left over.

Paid a little over 400 after rebates so its all good. :D

I really like that case. Wish I saw it when I was doing my build.

Nice build :) Since that CPU is overclockable, would overclocking actually aid in Minecraft performance?

Nicely done and a cool thing to do for your bro. Hand me downs can sometimes build a heck of a system on the cheap. I am curious as to why you chose the 4130 over the 4300. They seem to be the same price right now anyway.

i got it for 90 after a big rebate i forgot how much tho. But its easily up gradable in the future due to the powersupply and the AM3+ board. Probably gonna crossfire the 7770s and cpu later when it needs to be upgraded

Really nice build. But I'm not sure why you didn't get the Fx-4300. It is the same price as the 4130 and it upgrades to the piledriver architecture which adds allot of extra performance. Also for 5 more dollars you could have gotten a 1 Tb HDD. But other than that really nice build

rebates thats why :D. Otherwise i woulda chosen the seagate 1tb but when i wanted to buy it the price shot back up to 75 while the 500gb was there at 50

That case looks really fierce. I don't know why, but it just looks tough. Nice job for the budget.

I have a rosewill psu and I find mine pretty noisy. How is yours?

Mines pretty silent. I think you may have a fan problem becasue Hive series psus are supposed to be quiet.

Is that a Good Mobo?

by the way if that mobo has only USB 2.0 and your case has USB 3.0 what shall I do?

Well for now i leave it hanging so theres 2 useless usb ports. I will buy a pci to usb 3.0 header soon. Probably something like this. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815201043

I wouldn't say that the psu is overkill since it gives room to upgrade; good budget build

hey im looking at that motherboard and i was wondering how many case fans can it support, please reply

Well I threw out the manual and I'm too lazy to open up my computer and check. But i did look it up online. NEWEGG.

1 x CPU Fan connector(s) (4 -pin) 3 x Chassis Fan connector(s) (4 -pin)

so 3 case fans shall answer your question

I loved seeing this. I wanted to see if anybody made a cheaper version of my build before I started buying parts. I looked under builds that had the same GPU and saw you also added the same CPU. Reminds me of my crappy PC. My older brother built it, and I mostly played Skyrim and FTP games on it. I started playing Borderlands 2 and would crash every once and a while, started playing another game and I started crashing... It took 2 years to kill my PC. I can't imagine having the same for 7 years.

Too much reliance on rebates. Unless you are someone who does not mind filling them out and sending then I guess this IS a good build. Otherwise avoid.

I don't mind waiting. I find it as free money later on when it comes 2 months later but no worries.

You budgeted your case more than your GPU?!!?!??

Maybe you got it on sale or something? As of right now the case cost more than the GPU ...
