Description

Hello! My dad has been out of the computer game for a while, and wanted to begin gaming again. He knew the how, but didn't know the what. So he had me gather the parts to fit what he wanted. So, yes, some of the parts are a bit frivolous (Blu-Ray Drive) but it's what he wanted. He gave me the budget of around $1200, and this is what I came up with. All in all it was really fun, he's stoked with the performance. It runs like a beast. If you have any questions on performance or anything, feel free to ask!

(Will update the CPU/GPU temps soon!)

Great project, very nice build +1. That 680 is just dirt cheap!

Oh I know, right? Was kind of scared to get it. But it runs really well! Thanks!

The GTX680 is such a great card, if you can find them now for the price you found it you should buy 4 right away :P.

Proud to own one!

Trust me, I'd love to for my own build! If my funds allowed ;)

Really nice well balanced build, but you need to flip the fans direction on the heatsync if you want to have it that side! Currently from what I can see is its pushing air towards the front of the case, where as the rear fans are trying to pull air out the back of the case. The best airflow is air in the bottom front and out the back top in a case.

Thanks so much! It was definitely a fun project for us! I told him he could get a software for it, but he "needed it" haha. Oh well!

It took my dad a bit of convincing. But he's really glad with the investment. But thanks!
