Description

while under load temps are the max I've had so far

Hello friends this is my first build that I will be upgrading so look forward to that. I will post my build plan list for that at the end.

This is a work/gaming rig. I use it for photo processing and editing so heavy lightroom and Photoshop work as well as file organization.

This rig runs Witcher 3 60fps on max settings. Frame rate will sometimes drop to 50 so if you are a heavy gamer or want that 100+ frames on max graphics then upgrade that video card friends. For me I am satisfied.

Part Reviews

CPU

Good processor. If you can afford it get the k version. Ordered non k by mistake.

Motherboard

Great motherboard. Very stable. Instructions are scarce so be sure of what wires plug into where. I recommend.

Storage

Can load Witcher 3 map in a second. Very fast. In all aspects not just gaming.

Video Card

Runs Witcher 3 max graphics 60fps at 70 temp load. If you want /need something more powerful then I would recommend upgrading. For the casual gamer or intermediate gamer who wants to run current games at 60fps on a budget get this card

Case

Tons of space and flexibility great for cable managemnt. Has literally 10 fan slots.

Power Supply

Would recommend to anyone planning to upgrade to better components in the future. This is a powerhouse psu.

Wireless Network Adapter

Unless you are a room away from your modem/router I would recommend another adapter. Ended up moving my modem and just using wired because I could not even achieve 1mbp download or higher than 1.5 upload. It is only an adapter so it can only do so much. If you are getting this make sure there are no electronics between u or ur modem such as a fridge microwave etc. I recommend a wireless card or another adapter or this with a router combo. Don't buy it solo

Keyboard

Works great considering the price. Mouse is responsive as a mouse can be. Keyboard sometimes has input lag when using Photoshop I noticed.

Hello, I was wondering since you built this PC a while ago how is your experience with Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop? I'm having problem with my NVIDIA GTX 970 and Adobe CC 2015.5 with slow downs and crashes. I am wondering if people with different cards have a better result. Thanks!

Seems lightroom crashes a lot when I start using certain develop sliders but im 99.9% sure it's a software bug. Uhm other than that nothing really. It's served me well Witcher 3 max at 60fps. Bf1 max at 60fps (don't have a higher Hertz monitor haha) I would look at returning your card.

Hey, nice build. Could you show some pictures from Witcher 3 that support your claim of 60 fps on max settings? Not calling you a liar, but the RX 480 barely reaches that level, so I'm a bit skeptical. Anyways, +1

Sure friend. I will tomorrow
