Build

Tasty Beast

by ForeverXero

Description

This is a build log of a computer I built for a client. This build was a lot of fun to work with new and exciting components. The Corsair HD120 fans were a pain in the behind!! Had to buy 11 of them to fill the 7 fan slots in this build because 4 of the fans had various RBG display problems!

I made a fun broll video if you're interested here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bniJmokEYL0

Wrong monitor listed

The monitor is the one for my build, not the monitor delivered to the client. Sorry for the confusion.

Sexy build! how was the inwin 303 to work with? thinking about getting it too ;)

I would say average. A couple gripes I had were that the power supply position blocks one fan almost completely, and the cable management in the back is lacking unlike other brands.

From the angle that you are taking the pictures, the fans look kinda weird lol

It's the slow shutter speed on my camera I was using for a fun effect.

how did you get the fans on the bottom?? I have the same case and with my mobo (ROG Maxmius IX Formula) I can't fit any fans on the bottom brackets. I only have 3 fans on top and the exhaust fan.

It was a tight squeeze, and they do butt up to the mobo, but it seemed to work out for me

does your motherboard have 7 fan pin headers?

Beautiful Build and the case is very nice really takes it to another level.

Is there any issue between then motherboard and the threadripper? says there is an incompatibility issue

"AMD - Threadripper 1950X 3.4GHz 16-Core Processor and MSI - X399 GAMING PRO CARBON AC ATX TR4 Motherboard are not compatible."

No reported issues from the client. Operated perfectly in setup and benchmarking
