Description

Hi! I've been piecing this setup together for a good 5 years and I'm very happy with where it is now. The desktop performs well, sometimes the CPU shows its age but not enough to prompt an upgrade. It recently got a new homemade case, it was a fun little project to make. The lights & strip are Philips Hue, and the chair is a Serta Hensley. The laptop is the latest Razer Blade 15 Advanced with the 2070 and 240hz screen.

+1 for guitar.

...Even if it is a Gibson/Epiphone.

Thanks! I have a soft spot for Gibsons/Epiphone as an Epiphone Special II was my first guitar. The guitar in the picture is a Gibson Explorer Pro, and here's a link with my other guitars! https://imgur.com/a/siFKcdl I had an Ovation super shallow, and a classical guitar, but I had to sell them when I moved.

My first beer of the night was a Guinness 200th Anniversary Stout haha. Though I'm much more into craft stouts and porters. Guinness was my entry into the world of stouts.

When it comes to guitars though, I'm a huge Jackson fanboy. I've had a few in my time, but right now I just have a Pro Series SL7 Soloist(the one that's my icon, beautiful finish) and a JS series 7 string Dinky. Then I've also got a multi-scale Legator 7 string that I got on clearance. I'm one of those prog metal guys, so I love my extended range.

The headstocks on that Parker is wild though, I love it.

Here's my current collection. I also have a cheap 5 string Ibanez bass. Love natural finishes. https://imgur.com/a/VOcigvS

That's awesome man. I love the finish on your SL7, that white binding really makes it pop. Jackson makes killer guitars, I used to have a Rhoads flying V and wanted a tiger finish Dinky at one point. There were also a few Charvels that I had been eyeing. Now I prevent myself from looking at new guitars since I barely find the time to enjoy the ones I have

Speaking of V's, I used to have an LTD Alexi-200. Love the Jackson Rhoads, especially with the chrome pick guard. Charvel is another brand I like(since they're basically Jacksons anyway).

I'm with you on that though, if I spend too much time eyeing guitars I'll end up with more. My wish list on zZounds is already 4 pages of guitars haha.

Pls start selling that case, Maybe an ATX size?

You know, you're not the first to request! Due to the boutique nature of the product, pricing for ATX will start at $349. This is due to the tooling and machinery development costs required for larger scale production. Expected shipment is early 2021, although delays are not the responsibility of Cardboard Luxuries LLC.

Is this going to be the permanent "case"?

Most likely until I overhaul my desktop. I want to build in an ultra small form factor case, but doing so requires a lot of investment. My laptop is my daily driver, and since I really only use my desktop on occasion I don't want to spend a lot of money on it. Fingers crossed that none of the components fail, spark, and burn down my house.
