I just got out of school and I want to build a PC before high school so this is my chance.

CPU: Installation was easy but when I decided to flip the fan of the stock cooler to make the PC look good but it just took to long.

Ram: install was easy and the ram is fast

Psu: I messed up the install but besides that it install was easy and the cables look clean

Ssd easy install and is super fast windows loads in 5-10 seconds

Video card: scared the crap out of me on first boot cause fans weren't sniping but then realized they font spin till the card reaches 50 Celsius. Easy install and a great graphics card.

Wireless card: is super good i get full bars when i'm upstairs on the opposite corner of the house. Also the antenna is magnetic so I can stick it practically anywhere Only con is the USB cable is noticeable but barely due to the nice black sieving.

Monitor: is Fast has no dead pixels and looks great

Keyboard: is amazing for 30 dollars and the red light is a nice touch

Motherboard: Works and has nice red leds

Case: Looks great and I bought it for $50

Perfect first build looks nice and clean a bit of advice, you could move the fan from the top down to the front and the wlan card from under the graphics cards to the 1x slot above it as it's in the way of one of the fans. I had the same wlan card and i don't think the usb cable was needed for it to work either.

sniping fans Do they 360 no scope m8? Jokes aside, great build. 1+ ryzen

INFLCT 2 Builds 1 point 17 months ago

The only thing I would say is Maybe overclock or get some better speed memory as ryzen really excels with memory over 3000mhz

HotShot_01 8 Builds 1 point 7 months ago

If you still have the warranty for the RAM I would recommend upgrading to 3000 MHz, since Ryzen feasts on high speed RAM

I'm going to have to disagree wholeheartedly, I've used the AMD stock cooler on two builds already and it's an amazing CPU cooler in it's own right.

I've had no issues with heat dissipation (if anything it does a better job than advertised) and the cooler itself is extremely quiet even when compared to something like a Cryorig C7 at similar RPM's.

Additionally, I've been able to maintain stable overclocks of up to 3.9GHz on an R7 1700 and an R5 1400 with just the stock cooler, that's exceptional.

I recommend doing a bit of research (or even testing the part yourself) before making broad statements like "don't use a AMD stock cooler because of heat issues", especially on a website where some people have thoroughly tested the components in question.
