Hello pcpp! finally a build from me! again! thats actually new! not from like 3 - 4 years ago but posted now! today i am building my minecraft server / lan gaming rig. im going to be using this pc for gaming mainly until i finally get enough money to build up my good rig that has the good cpu/mb in it. (dat old but still relevant x79, i7-3930k setup swag) most of the parts besides that were just not good enough for my gaming tastes anymore. i love gaming at high fps max graphics so its time to get it decked out. so now here we have my new build that is good for me on the go! plus it can host my minecraft server since me and a friend make money doing minecraft builds. yes it sounds weird. but trust me. it. pays. good. (if you can build) ive always wanted a lan / small build because ive always had full tower cases and i havent really done a build with new parts in a LONG time. so this was long overdue. yes im 16. yes im girl btw if you start freaking out over assumptions based off my name.. wow girl doin computer wow so amazed. (i really don't understand the stigma)

but not to blabber on here is the build! enjoy!

CPU: only heard great things about this cpu and it was cheap. looking at the specs i thought it was really a no brainer. im "going" to be putting my old watercooler from my gaming rig on it maybe? or buy a newer watercooler. the old watercooler is not running very good anymore so im not sure if its even worth using.

MB: i chose this motherboard because it was the best bang for the buck in my opinion. its the latest Z97 chipset, its a micro atx and red. im planning on making this a red gaming/server/lan build when i have money so i thought it wouldve been a waste to buy a mb that id need to upgrade in the future anyways. planning ahead. finally something good to come out of this brain.

it actually has a line of red led around the chips on the bottom left corner that looks really good. the board itself is actually quite beautiful. the pictures make it look not that good but it actually looks great.

RAM: was in gaming pc but planning on buying new ram for that pc that color matches the build so its going in here. good ram. works. ayy.

SSD: old ssd that i had laying around since i fix pc's for money and i keep some broken laptops and parts. pc had this decent ssd so i decided to use it. no complaints on it. runs great. (other pc's mb and other parts died)

GPU: was in my good gaming pc. putting that rig into hibernation since im planning on upgrading 80% of the parts anyway and making it a custom case mod build. still a great card so yeah. gonna use it. (did i mention how much i love this card just because it overclocks great, runs great, still runs like new, HAS A BACKPLATE, IT IS LITERALLY SO BEAUTIFUL)

Powersupply: this WAS in my good gaming pc (i have a post on here of it) but its starting to get old and making a electric buzz and i just didnt want it in there anymore. plus i was planning on upgrading that pc anyways so i just put it in here.

Nicely done on reusing parts. (I'm a little confused upon which is reused and not but then again from trying to read and looking at the part-list, it may speak for itself from what I see here. Plus I checked your other build so it lessen some of my confusion.) You mention about the PSU buzzing, so is it the one you have listed and intend to update it down the road when able to? Or what did I misunderstood here?

By the way I like the MOBO. Ironicly that was one of my first MOBOs that I was planning to get, but I changed my mind and ended up with an ATX instead. I'm certain the OC will make it sweet, if need to. So good job Ellie, I'm certain you will enjoy this PC for its purpose! +1

The cpu is a beast. I got mine OC'ed to 4.3ghz (on stock cooler) with a GTX 960 and I'm running Witcher 3 on Ultra settings, getting avg 47fps and low/highs of 40-60fps.

Yeah the Pentium is a really good $60 CPU, and it leaves room to upgrade to a 4790k

Great build. I'm going to purchase that same CPU here in the near future for a steam box/htpc I'm working on. Side Note: In picture six there is a copy of somebody drivers license, or so it seems.
