Description

The computer of all nerds dreams, has come true! With overkill ram, storage, and water cooling, thank you monies =p but in all seriousness, this is a computer I have been waiting to build for several years. Saying that this build wasn't a bumpy road would be a statement completely in the wrong. Being that this was my first time ever water cooling, my first time ever building with x99, my first time ever making a custom "Case", and so on the installation went great. But when it came down to fidgeting with the hard tubing... yea a nightmare, even for my artistic hands. For the faint of heart, who is about to indulge in water cooling, please... Please... PLEASE prepare yourself for the hard tubing, if that is the route you take. All in all, very worth while, and very much so pleasing to finally be finished with this build. Off to my next project, code named Grannies Sleeper Mk.1

I’ve yet to figure this out but I have my ram plugged in quad channel yet only channel a1 and b1 show as active. I’ve tried looking it up with no avail.

PS. I would very much so love to make building these desks a profession, at a low cost of labor. I've attempted to sell the idea here in my home town, with no avail. So hopefully one day I can quit my daytime job creating works of art for peoples homescapes=p

Why do you have an HP monitor listed when the image shows an Acer monitor? Also, your CPU/MB in your parts list doesn't match your description.

What CPU do you have? You said it's your first time with X99 yet you have an i7-6700K. Am I just confused? Or is there something off here? Anyways, cool-looking build!

You're right. I can see 8 DIMM slots so it cant be a 6700k.

Maybe its a 6800k or 6900k and he just clicked on the wrong one. xd
