Description

CPU - Chose this CPU for its good ratings, wasnt too worried about gettin a GPU right away. Works great so far.

MOBO - This came as package deal with the CPU from my local Microcenter, had the basic everything that i needed and at a great price point

Memory - Stuck with the color scheme, fast enough for me and highly rated.

Hard Drive - Use the SSD for OS, and damn does this boot up fast, love it.

Case - I just love the NZXT cases and this one fit perfect with my blue theme, front access USB 3 and removabel front plate.

PS - nothing too special, semimodular, good price.

OS - Good perk for being in college, lol

Fans - I know its excessive and this isnt the quietest rig out there, but im usually zoned out with headphones on and cant hear them anyway, but they make the damn thing a beauty.

Keyboard - Might not be my first pick but it isn't horrible

For a first time build im happy with it, kinda addicted now though.

APU need fast RAM to shine in games

most will pair it with 2133MHz or 2400Mhz RAMs for better fps

if you are stepping up to a GPU

pick at least the 270/X instead of going for the R7 250 for Dual Graphics

Yeah, getting addicted kinda happens, funny enough, my cousin texted me this morning saying he wanted me to build him one and I was excited, I have a 960 just laying around, as I recently got a 970 and now have a use for it.

I'll admit I was about to nag you for having $560 for an A10 7850k, then I saw how you fit in an SSD and Windows 8.1.

In that case, great build! The A10's integrated graphics are about on-level with R7 250 from what I've heard, so I'd recommend buying an R9 280 or 270 when it drops in price (since 300's are coming soon).

You should really oc your ram to 1866 or 2133. 2400 Doesn't have too many gains, also runs hotter, and it doesn't look like your board supports it. Even stepping up from 1600 to 1866 let me raise my settings from low-med to med-high (I have the same apu.) Anyway, awesome build.

Random question cause why not: What resolution are you gaming at?
