  • 1 point

Thanks, but why would I do that if I already have a 480GTS?

  • 1 point

got mixed up soz but how slim cloud you make the case just wandering with all the gear in it

  • 1 point

The case that I picked is 8.7in tall, providing 7.8in of inside space. The tallest components attached to the bottom plate are the pump and psu. Then it meets the radiator, fans, the top of the plexiglass, then the monitor. I'm using every mm of space from bottom to top. A smaller case would require different components or a different configuration.

  • 1 point

It wasn't the best build, but my buddy was pretty proud of his new machine.

  • 1 point

Um... but it's an orange box but honestly really cool.

  • 1 point

haha yea. a "Black Box" is the flight recorder that most aircrafts have, and it is actually orange too ;)

This is quite cool actually... I wouldve mounted the fans so they blow downwards so that you dont get ur face blasted with hot air and put a slim keyboard and trackpad on top underneath the monitor so that u can tell everyone its a fat laptop...

  • 1 point

thank you, I wanted the case so be sealed once its closed, but that is a fun idea haha

  • 1 point

think its airport friendly

  • 1 point

how do u like that video card

  • 1 point

Im loving it. Have it locked at 60fps. Never see the counter go below that. Playing New Doom, Arma, FO4...

  • 1 point

Ty for letting me know

  • 1 point

Why not have fans coming out the rear side and the left and right sides so they are not blowing in your face? Cool build though.

  • 1 point

I want the case to be sealed when closed. Also, I don't feel the exhaust fans blowing on my face, even when im sitting 2ft away from the screen.

I see... Very nice build!

Neat custom portable pc.

Thumbs up.

Now just get a battery for this thing and it's a laptop

  • 1 point

TBH that GPU is a bit overkill for 1080p, I have a GTX 1060 and I can still max out every game I play. Also, you should get a large mousepad, move keyboard back and use foreground for your mouse(making sure to leave ample space for the fans and such). Otherwise, I dig the setup...

Thank you! I did plenty of research and CAD before I started buying the parts. It helped me visualize the final product.
