Description

I worked together with the guys from XForma (xforma.com) to help promote their highly anticipated chassis, the MBX MKII and show what it's capable of at its absolute max. This case has been 6 years in the works and stock is just about to hit shelves and go out to those that pre-ordered. This system will be my main work and gaming system going forth, hooked up to my two displays, the Dell UP2715K and Acer X34 G-Sync. I hope you enjoy the photos!

Isn't that a Silverstone TJ07 with the MB reversed and some custom sheet metal?

  • 1 point

wow, question. I upgraded my rig over the weekend. Do you think it'll be faster if I installed the OS on the Intel 750 in the PCIe and the games on the 960 Evo? Or vice versa? I'd appreciate any thoughts.

  • 1 point

pcie is faster because it is connected directly to motherboard. if its conected to mobo it is faster than if connected trough a cable.

  • 1 point

for some reason my 960 Evo (m.2) is quite faster than my Intel 750 (PCIe). Must be the new technology...

  • 1 point

yea it probably is.

do you like the m.2 ssd?

i plan on buying one for my build.

  • 1 point

definitely better than the Intel 750. And, thew new Z270's allow the use of two M.2's to be used at the same time =)

  • 1 point

I bought a m.2 pice adaptor I can have 3 m.2's. But with z270 having 2 m.2 slots and if it has 4 pcie you can have 8 m.2 slots in theory for multiple terabytes of m.2 storage. Imagine that, it would be so fast and so fricking awesome

I will admit this is a cool case, but with a base cost of $1250? How bout no.

  • 3 points

No for you, but yes for others. If I was spending 10K on my PC, I'd want an awesome case like this one.

  • 0 points

If I were spending 10k on a PC I'd like to get the most performance rather than spending what some people would spend on an entire PC on just the case. Just my opinion.

  • 2 points

I 100% agree. But for other people who love aesthetics, this case is definitely an option.

Yes yes it is.
