Description

I decided to go all out on this build. Using the SLI 980's ensures maximum FPS when playing next-gen games like Assassins Creed Unity. The amount of storage means I have the ability to store large quantities of files, and the large amount of RAM is used for the rendering of videos in AE.

Are you using all 4 ram slots? You might wanna refer to your manual and see if your ram is plugged in correctly. Looks as though you're using the wrong slots.

I agree with mlach, looks like your RAM is installed in the wrong slots if you're trying to run dual channel. Other than that, not a bad build lol +1

My bad! This must be why arma 3 keeps crashing. Thanks.

It does not look like you mounted your SSDs correctly. Good choice on parts though.

So if you're getting maximum FPS In Assassin's Creed: Unity, I'd assume that's around 20FPS? Just kidding! Great build! A few questions though... It looks like one of your SSDs is crooked... Is that just the picture? Also, why go with the V300 series? Some 850 EVOs wouldn't have run you up much more. Third question, why a 2x8GB kit of RAM, and then a 4x1GB kit? And can we get some more pictures?

I think they are actually housed crooked. Think my case has some manufacturer problems or something. I had one V300 hanging around and I don't like mixing brands, so I bought another of the same.

That's strange... I myself run an H440 and have never found any defects (besides the fading LEDs in the logo). As far as the V300s go, I can understand that, but just remember storage can be flexible, unlike RAM. Speaking of RAM, I'm still curious about the mixture of it... I see you only have 2 sticks in your pictures. Is the extra 4GB stick listed by accident?

I love the ghetto-mounted SSD style you've got going.
