Description

Built for my lady to get into gaming. So far about 50% successful at getting her into it but we've both had a laugh.

Started with some Black Friday deals and basically went from there.

I chose the Bitfenix case because I liked the look and one of the only cases that could fit in the space in the TV cabinet. Quite hard to work with because of the small size and cable management isn't the easiest because the cables are all too long. I might one day actually get the cable ties out and make a real effort.

Temps are a little high because she's on a stock cooler but when I upgrade my liquid cooling on my build I will put my AIO in this.

Let me know if you have any questions.

How has the Sandisk SSD Plus been working for you? I recently returned some things to Best Buy and picked it up, but my whole rig isn't finished yet so I haven been able to test it. What are your thoughts

No complaints so far. Decent boot times and still works. Lol.

Nice Build! What are your thoughts on this case? I've read the airflow wasn't very good because of the holes in the front pannel, which were few and small.

Forgot to upload the photo but I thought best I bought the vented side panel. If you are worried about too little air intake at the front, use the top as an intake as well. I haven't had any serious issue with heat but I would add more holes myself if I was gonna put a rad on the front.

Thx for replying. If I end up buying the Phenom I think I'm gonna buy the vented window ou maybe mod it to allow more ventilation. I thought about the Thermaltake Core V1 as an alternative, but the Phenom looks much more classy.

I looked at the Thermaltake as well but its quite long for what I wanted. It was £15 for the side panel which added 25% to the cost of the case so if you can mod, do.

I just watched a review on this case, and I saw that the only vents are on the top and back, save for some grills around the edges of the front. When you say the $15 'side panel' in the list of parts, do you mean you found another side panel which has grills for ventilation? Bit worried about that with the case, but everything else looks awesome.

Sorry super late reply but yes there is a side panel from bitfenix with vents.
