Description

I am using this build mostly for gaming and just having fun. I used to play games on a MacBook Pro which overall kind of sucked. It works perfectly and can't wait to upgrade certain things, such as my mouse. The Logitech Performance MX is a great mouse but for gaming I just don't know what to get. If you have any ideas please leave a comment. I have not been able to play any games or do anything on my computer yet because I do not have any software but I will re-upload this build with temps and speeds after the software has arrived. Thank you. Please be nice in the comments if you have something nice to say thanks, if you have anything mean to say don't say it and if you have suggestions PLEASE post them. Thanks again.

P.S. I am using SteelSeries Siberia V2's for a headset with mic and Sorry for the bad pictures i took them with my iPhone

Too many people liquid cool their i7's but "can't afford" more than a GTX 760 on their gaming rigs. You on the other hand understand that your money is better spent on the GPU.

Fantastic build, +1

I can't really tell from the pics, but does your psu fan face up? You may want to flip it and have that warm air pushed out of the case.

It seems the PSU fan does face up, but I don't get what you're trying to say. The PSU fan is currently pushing the warm case air out through the mesh. If it's faced down, then the case air will be pushed out through the back fan and the PSU will have cool outside air from the bottom. What you're saying seems a jumble of these two.

Do you intend to add another 970 down the line?

Most likely not, if I need it (video editing, etc) I might get another or upgrade

The main problem I have about this build. Is that the cpu is locked and cant be OC'ed

Yeah I know what you're trying to say. I originally bought the 4670k and then realized I wont do any overclocking

His non-OCable CPU won't come close to bottlenecking his card or whatever card he upgrades to down the road. He correctly spent his money on a better GPU instead.
