Description

This build was designed to be a pc that could do well in gaming and do light video editing. I am coming from a 2017 HP notebook which is almost to slow to even do my homework. Since this was my first build it took me a while to get it done it took me about 90 minutes to get everything done and get the OS installed, but is was defindly worth it. I get 120 FPS on Fortnite and while I am in a battle it dips to about 90. I play on max setting with 720p which is not bad. The build was pretty easy but the SSD placement was a little weird and the PCI brackets were hard to break off. The parts I chose were good price to performance and high quality. Disclaimer: In the list that is not the real monitor I use because HF207 did not show up on PcPartPicker, also the headset, key board and mouse did not come in at the time of typing, also I am getting a wrap for my desk

Should’ve went with a 1650 super, it’s the same price and 30-40% FPS increase

Really cool build but the only thing i see changed is the gpu. I’m pretty sure a 1650 Strix is slower than a msi 1660 gaming x and the 1660 is $240

I did look into 1660’s but at the time of developing the list the 1650 Strix was was significantly cheaper. Thanks for the advice though.
