Description

So i was browsing around in Microcenter and I got a killer deal on an open box Asus maximus impact for $120. I couldnt resist that so I decided it is time for a "quick" upgrade.

New Ram, new case, and new mobo later.. my pc is done.

Alot of these parts came from finding good sales and deals. need to get a new mechanical keyboard and my 2 monitors are gonna be switched out for a 29" 2560x1080 display. but so far, I love it.

Its fairly quiet for not being a "silent" case. I did search around a try to put only quiet fans in the case if possible. only has 3 fans: 120mm intake, 92mm exhaust, and 120mm on the radiator. For it being right beside me as sit at my desk, i can barely hear it at all.

I havent had a chance to overclock the CPU yet but I overclocked my just yet but i have overclocked the 780 and the idle temp sits right at 31 degrees Celsius and when gaming, I have seen it be as high as 81 degrees Celsius. The CPU idles at 29 degrees Celsius and at load, can be as high at 54 degrees Celsius.

The case is really fun to work with. I saw somebody post a build with the big brother of the case, the Inwin904, and cable management can be a little tricky but its not too bad.

Oh wow.. Thats one cool case! I love how the GEFORCE GTX leds come through the side panel! You have great cable management in that small case! Good job! Great part choices!

I thought this case was complete ****. I was so wrong. Amazing build.

it was tricky to find the right components for compatibility to make sure everything fit ok. not many have built with this case so it was hard to go on previous peoples wisdom

Great build, the case isn't for everyone but I do have to say it looks awesome, you did a great job my friend.

+1

Overall how do you like the case? I know you said cabling was tricky but how is the overall airflow?

its tricky with the cablemanagement but it can be done. i tried to get the best airflow/noise ratio. the gpu is better having the reference design so it shoots the air out the back rather than back into the case. overall, i wish there was more fan placement options but its not bad. definitely based more on aesthetics rather than functionality

Completely agree, aesthetically the case is top notch but I was concerned with airflow when I saw the lack of fan placements so seems I was correct

All in all you did a great job!

+1 Man i love this case, if the Inwin901 (Mid tower for me)could come with a proper Air ventilation on top,so that it could support 240mm radiator, it would be amazing and would make it hands down the "Best Case" easily.

some have put the 240mm rad in the big brother of this case.

Holy hot s#!% that's a nice case! Almost makes me regret my choice on the EVGA Hadron... almost. The case itself comes at a premium, but, again, absolutely beautiful.

I am seriously reconsidering the Hadron right now :P

How did you mount the H75 to the backplate? i was thinking of adding water cooling to my 901 but don't see how you'd mount it...
