unreal_paradise submitter 1 Build 2 points 42 months ago

Thanks man! 8 points over 10 it's a really great calification by your part!

Tiolen 3 points 36 months ago

Hey, cool Rig :) One question: Can u fit a Hyper Furyx RAM Stick in the first RAM Slot? The closest one to the CPU. I've read that u can position the CPU fan slightly more away from the Mainboard, that a 35mm RAM stick can fit under it. Can you confirm this? Thanks

unreal_paradise submitter 1 Build 2 points 36 months ago

Thanks dude!! I can't, i've lost first slot but you can adjust the fan cooler to elevate it but for sure you'll need a case with big width like 165mm for cooler

joshsc7 2 points 36 months ago

Have you thought about placing the fan at the back of the cooler and get a cryorig xt140 for the front and have it in push-pull while still maintaining use of the first ram slot?

unreal_paradise submitter 1 Build 2 points 36 months ago

Yeah I thought about it! but i just need 8gb ram, so for now there's no problem losing first slot, anyway thanks for the advice ;)

joshsc7 2 points 36 months ago

I'm thinking of doing it in my build, because i like this cooler alot and the r1 is a bit out of my price range. Update your build if you end up doing it, would like see how much it will improve overall cooling performance.

joshsc7 1 point 36 months ago

I too would like to know this!

cosm0s 3 points 36 months ago

Hey mate! I'm also going to use the Cryorig H5 Ultimate in my build, and it looks awesome installed on yours! I have a question. How hard was it to install on the motherboard?

unreal_paradise submitter 1 Build 2 points 36 months ago

Thanks man! It's really easy to install, a pair of screws and done!

vekspec 3 Builds 2 points 42 months ago

another Krait B&W build! beams with happiness well done! good build! :)

unreal_paradise submitter 1 Build 1 point 42 months ago

Thanks for your comment! I know! another Krait B&W in the jungle, but this one with Skylake :P

Funkyozer 2 points 42 months ago

I'm looking to get this mobo when I get my build. I was wondering, if anyone can help me out, is this mobo Wi-Fi enabled, or do I have to buy a PCI-e wireless card? (if so, does anyone have any good recommendations)

Or, alternatively, does anyone know if powerline adapters work in sets of three? There is already a powerline adapter right next to our router, but the device on the other end is in another part of the house. I could get a PA for my room but I'm not sure whether they work with without pairs?

heaven 2 points 42 months ago

most homeplugs/powerline kits are able to be used with as many as you like regardless of brand (just stay with tp link, netgear or devolo)

unreal_paradise submitter 1 Build 1 point 42 months ago

Thanks for your comment friend, this mobo hasn't any bluetooth or wifi adapter and i'm sorry but i don't acquainted with PCI-e wireless cards so i can't recommend any.

Respect the second thing, i'm not sure about powerline adapters i think the best solution is buy a PA to amplified the wifi signal, but maybe my answer is not the best for you, can anyone help to @Funkyozer?

Funkyozer 2 points 42 months ago

Thanks anyway, I found the ASUS PCE-AC68 (https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-wireless-network-card-pceac68) which has been reviewed as the best Wi-Fi adapter for pretty much anything. I should be able to connect to my 5GHz connection with this an will have no need for powerline (as it's connected to another device already, there may be some interference? Can anyone confirm this?), while still pulling really high download speeds for gaming and whatever.

Your build is nice and clean, as in there isn't wires all over the place and cluttering up the case. My build will be similar in terms of a few products (http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/Funkyozer/saved/LpTTwP), just gotta wait till February rolls around :) Thinking of probably switching up the SSD from 120GB to 250GB, I'm just not really sure whether I really need the space?

unreal_paradise submitter 1 Build 2 points 42 months ago

Thanks again man, and that build looks great! but my recomendation is a gpu with 4gb vram, that 'MSI GeForce GTX 960 2GB Video Card' is not the best choice in my opinion. If your budget is limited, maybe i'd choose a cheaper keyboard or headseat.

Respect the SSD, in my opinion 120gb is enough for the OS, some programs and a couple of games, but every person has different needs so you have to valuate if you need more capacity or not!

theNeybor 2 points 42 months ago

Amazing build!

unreal_paradise submitter 1 Build 2 points 42 months ago

Thanks dude! glad you like it ;)

Vorxer 2 points 42 months ago

do you happen to know if there is any way to turn off that yellow LED that runs along the audio section of the board?

unreal_paradise submitter 1 Build 1 point 42 months ago

Yeah you need to enter to the BIOS at the startup (press DEL key) -> enter in Advance Mode (press F7) -> Settings -> Power Management Setup -> On Board LED Control -> Off

That's it! and don't forget to save the changes before exit! ;)

aznate8 1 Build 2 points 41 months ago

wow im thinking about getting a PC very similar to this that. the fact that you can have your PC change color to match the keyboard makes my spine chill. by the way did you have to buy 2 of those LED strips or only 1

unreal_paradise submitter 1 Build 2 points 41 months ago

Hell yes! it's really interesting to match the PC LED with the keyboard+mouse, in fact the LED kit that i bought has 16 color variants, and the keyboard+mouse octane has 7 color variants, so it's really cool to try different colors every day! ;)

By other side the LED kit i bought has 2 strips (each strip is 30cm long and has 18 leds) and i can confirm you that one strip it's inadequate to light up all the case nzxt s340, you need 2 strips for a great lighting.

aznate8 1 Build 2 points 41 months ago

thanks :)

Great build. I wish the HyperX Fury would come out with the white DDR4.

unreal_paradise submitter 1 Build 1 point 41 months ago

Thanks dude! and I know!! initially i wanted HyperX Fury DDR4 modules in white color but for now it's impossible...

Dismember556 1 point 35 months ago

I personally think adding white ram sticks would overdo the white just a bit. I think you have hit a sweet spot with your color combination. Your motherboard has a lot of white on it already. Well done.

DIAMONDDUD3 1 Build 2 points 41 months ago

Do u know if the i5-6600k is a good cpu for streaming games??? And where did u getc your desk? Beautiful clean build love it :)

unreal_paradise submitter 1 Build 1 point 41 months ago

Yeah thanks dude! I'm glad you like it!! Of course the i5 6600K is a great cpu for streaming games! Respect the desk, sorry but it isn't a commercial furniture, it was built by myself!

Donnel 2 points 41 months ago

How many of those deepcool lights did you have to buy, was one sufficient?

unreal_paradise submitter 1 Build 1 point 41 months ago

The LED kit i bought has 2 strips (each strip is 30cm long and has 18 leds) and i can confirm you that one strip it's inadequate to light up all the case nzxt s340, you need 2 strips for a great lighting.

NooneenooN 2 points 40 months ago

Hey nice build. Im curious at how you got those led strips to work. Ive brought two of them and neither of them worked. They worked the first time i plugged them in and now they wont change colours and just stay blue.

unreal_paradise submitter 1 Build 1 point 40 months ago

Thanks! Check the cable with the IR receiver, maybe it isn't receiving the signal from the remote control!

NooneenooN 1 point 40 months ago

My friend pulled one apart and he could make it work if he played with the cable but it never lasted. Not to fussed I don't even have a window on my pc so it wouldn't make a difference.

Xorex64 2 points 40 months ago

Gotta say, this looks boss. Can you post some fps/benchmark results for various games you play?

unreal_paradise submitter 1 Build 1 point 40 months ago

Thanks man! and sure, i just post a couple or three games right now (Lords of the Fallen, Metal Gear V and Dying Light), but hope helps you! Depending on the configuration (ultra or high settings), the games are running between 45-60fps, but mainly at 60fps. Not bad for a GTX 960.

Xorex64 1 point 39 months ago

Thanks man.

kthien 2 points 39 months ago

Nice build. Doesn't seem like you had much trouble with the sata ports. I intend to use them all, do you see any problems with it?

unreal_paradise submitter 1 Build 2 points 39 months ago

Thanks man! and no problem, but be careful with gpu-sli builds, if you have two graphic cards, you'll lose the four sata III ports (white ports on pictures). Fortunately the mobo have two Sata Express ports on bottom right (i'm using one of them), and one M2 port.

TacosNachosNarcos 2 points 36 months ago

other than the psu, gpu and cpu cooler this is pretty much just like my build :)

peace1818 2 points 36 months ago

Great Looks but i would have opted for the i5 6500 with a gtx 970 but still a sick build

TacosNachosNarcos 2 points 35 months ago

Awsome build overall, very clean. those led's look amazing. The only thing i didn't like is the windows key you got. you could get one from kinguin for 20$ and get a gtx 970 instead. other than that this pc inspired me. i liked the estetics so much that i'm going with the same case and lightning

unreal_paradise submitter 1 Build 1 point 35 months ago

Thank you so much dude, i'm glad you like the build! :)

TacosNachosNarcos 1 point 35 months ago

1- ur welcome 2-and i'm also going to be using the cpu cooler

xSenju 2 points 35 months ago

NICE BUILD !!!

Just wondering are you using the SATA CABLES ? I heard bad reviews about em

unreal_paradise submitter 1 Build 1 point 35 months ago

Thanks man! I'm using SATA Express ports and they are working fine!

ipman65 2 points 35 months ago

The Ultimate fit in a case NZXT s340 moving the fan a bit down?. Thanks

unreal_paradise submitter 1 Build 1 point 35 months ago

The Cryorig Ultimate fits in a S340 without moving the fan!

Ziast 2 points 33 months ago

Hey! Great build! Some reviews of the mobo you used say that it is hard to use multi gpus with it. Can you see that being an issue? Also, how's overclocking with the H5? Awesome PC...

PsychoTraktor 1 Build 2 points 31 months ago

Does the H5 fit perfectly in the S340?

unreal_paradise submitter 1 Build 1 point 31 months ago

Yeap! There's no problem

KaOSoFt 2 points 30 months ago

Hey, hopefully you see this, but I’m curious: although you said you lost the first RAM slot, is it forcing on the second or is it just fine? I’m building a rig right now, and I’m planning on getting same case + heatsink combo, but I don’t want the heatsink fan to be pushing/forcing the second RAM stick.

Thanks!

unreal_paradise submitter 1 Build 1 point 30 months ago

Don't worry because at this combo (MSI Z170A Krait mobo + Cryorig H5 Ultimte cooler) the second slot is totally free so there's no problem to use the second, third and fourth slot!

EDIT: At least using those Kingston HyperX Fury kit, i don't know with other ram modules.

cs1botasky 2 points 29 months ago

Hello, very cool looking build. I am thinking to build something the same. Could you please tell me how much clearance is there between your graphic card and the Cryorig H5 Ultimate?

Because I wanna install an Arctic Accelero Extreme IV on my GTX 1070 using a MSI Z170A SLI Plus mother board, and the back side cooler of the Accelero Extreme IV needs 23mm space.

Thanks for such a cool build! :D

unreal_paradise submitter 1 Build 1 point 29 months ago

Thank you so much dude! Glad you like the build. Sadly the clearence between the gpu and the cooler is 20mm, so i think you'll not have enough clearance :/

GMAN-DV8 1 Build 1 point 42 months ago

Looks sick man how you liking it? Its funny because i was thinking about getting th h5 ultimate aswell and possible the msi krait board too. How do you like them?

unreal_paradise submitter 1 Build 1 point 42 months ago

Thanks man!! The H5 Ultimate looks awesome in my opinion, it's really big and cool, and the performance is powerful, in fact is my fave component of the build. The krait mobo looks nice too with the white details so for me the combo "h5 ultimate+z170 krait" looks really great! ;)

GMAN-DV8 1 Build 2 points 42 months ago

awesome thanks for the reply, sounds good.

gigagoku12 1 Build 1 point 42 months ago

that cooler looks a bit snug. I think an aio water cooler would have looked nice as well, but the build is still pretty nice overall

MightyHammer 4 points 42 months ago

I disagree with you cryorig coolers looks so damn se*y :D

HTTPRO 3 Builds 3 points 42 months ago

cryorig coolers are always sexy af, dem anodized heat sinks.

unreal_paradise submitter 1 Build 3 points 42 months ago

Cryorig coolers are always a great buy :)

joshsc7 2 points 36 months ago

did you experience any difficulty with ram clearance? I also have hyperx ram and thinking about getting this cooler or the universal version for better compatibility

unreal_paradise submitter 1 Build 1 point 36 months ago

I did! I've lost first slot but you can adjust the fan cooler to elevate it but for sure you'll need a case with big width like 165mm for cooler

unreal_paradise submitter 1 Build 1 point 42 months ago

Yaaas! I agree with you, Cryoirg coolers are really sexys :P

unreal_paradise submitter 1 Build 1 point 42 months ago

Thanks dude! you're right, the cooler is pretty tight, in fact 1mm saved me to crash with the side window haha but for me looks really cool, i love this cooler and my budget was limited for a water cooler!

Stuart_Munto 2 Builds 1 point 42 months ago

This would have to be one of my favorites! Looks unreal with the white lights !!!

unreal_paradise submitter 1 Build 1 point 42 months ago

Thanks buddy! I'm really satisfied with the lighting, looks cool and you can choose a different color every day, but my fave is white :P

Vorxer 1 point 41 months ago

did you leave the 2 stand offs on that are on the right of the MB but don't connect to anything? (i have the same MB and case but curious)

unreal_paradise submitter 1 Build 1 point 41 months ago

Hey dude, thanks for your comment but i'm not sure what do you mean! Can you be more specific?
