Another first build description...actually 2nd build but that was over 13 years ago.

Overall, I am satisfied with this machine. The goal was a low cost gaming build. While I don't play any of the graphic intense FPS and probably game less than 2-4 hours a week (if that), this machine has handled what I've thrown at it on high settings without any hiccups (Batman Arkham Origins and Tomb Raider).

While I do really like the FX-6300 CPU and a few other components that do their job well, I feel I would of went in different directions on a few parts. Now, I would definitely went with a higher end mobo and gpu. The case I choose was purely a cost cutting decision and another mistake in my opinion. It's hard to knock a $20 dollar case, what more could you expect? That said, the FBM-01 it is very tight, no frills but, hey, it houses everything. After, the initial build I went with a low profile cooler as I felt it would be way too tight to put a tower cooler in.

In retrospect, I would of went with different components but you live and you learn. This is by far and so far the best PC I've ever owned(I've bought quite a few since 1995)...had fun building it, it performs well and it'll make a niece or nephew very happy when I build the next one. Cheers.

You need to change your PSU as soon as possible before you start a house fire.

I think you should zip-tie your cables or if possible, stuff them in unused drive bays like what i did when my case doesn't have cable management, so that airflow would be better...

Nice choice of parts. Only thing which needs altering is that PSU. Unless you plan on destroying the whole street, I'd change it with one with better certification. Other than that, +1.

Thanks for the comments. The cursed Raidmax PSU does have an 80+ Bronze rating and has run fine for 2 months (fingers crossed)...though I haven't put as much stress on it as I imagine I could. Anyways, I will heed the warning and swap this out a higher rated PSU manufacturer.
