Description

Great build for the price

Use this machine for gaming 1080p and for photo/video editing.

I have not overclocked the CPU yet but it is definitely doable on the stock cooler

RGB lights on the motherboard are great and subtle.

If you have a bit more money, try to consider a full size graphics card, as this one tends to get pretty hot and loud... which doesn't leave me for much overclocking room for the GPU.

I'm thinking of getting this gpu. Which settings does it play at? Also nice build, I like the lighting inside, and your setup.

Most games on ultra no problem.

Poorly optimized games like pubg, high, if you want to keep your fps above 60.

Consider getting a bigger card, as this one heats up a lot

what other cards do you recommend at this price point?

get the SC version of the card. With some research on youtube, I found that the SC version has better cooling and even is better than most 2 and 3 fan cards

Get whatever 1060 is cheapest on Black Friday, 3gb or 6gb.

No I would say you need the 6GB, It has a more powerful gpu inside it and 3GB of Vram is already starting to become a bottleneck in newer games, that problem will only grow.

Hey do you think prices will drop a lot during Black Friday? This will be my first pc build and I am trying to get the cheapest prices! Is the gpu that bad?? Cause I really want to get it.

1060 is a good mid-range card imo. It can play lots of games at high enough settings, but if you're going to get a 1060, get one with 6GB of VRAM since more and more games require that extra 3 gigs. It's a good card nonetheless.

Build quality is okay. However, i totally agree that the cable management is horrible !.

Also, i heard that the tempered glass version of the Nova has much better cable manahement... Especially benind the motherboard
