Description

Hey everyone! As the title states, this is my first PC build. I got a lot of my ideas from you wonderful people on PC Partpicker. I love how my build turned out! I was always a Ps3 and xbox user so this is a great experience for me to join the "master race" ;), and so far... The master race it is! I have never had such beautiful quality of game-play like this before. I have already experienced with modding games, like skyrim (only one so far). But to me all of this is new and every day I am learning something different. Anyway take a look at my build. Feel free to comment on your experiences you've had building your first PC or 5th for all I care. I love talking to my buddies on how we all decided on which parts to choose.

P.S. I realize that the pictures I took aren't the greatest quality, but it's the best I could do with my phone.

Thank you!

Did you really spend $499.99 on a GTX 870 Ti?

Why the 1.5TB drive instead of a cheaper 2TB? Nice build though =)

he probably had it laying around from when hard drives were 100 dollars and it made sense to get one of those

How difficult was it to install the cpu cooler ? can you offer any pointers...

It was actually really simple, the case has so much space that having a larger cpu cooler was easier to install than you might think. As for tips, not sure if I am the person to ask, I honestly just followed the instructions that came with the cooler and it worked out :p If anything just make sure your case has space for the cpu cooler and you should find it fairly simple to set up.

I do not mean to make you feel bad about getting a gtx 780 ti, I'm just saying if you return it you could get an even better deal

I love it! It is definitely top of the line. Although everyone is suggesting get the 980, what's done is done, I have had a great experience so far with the Kingpin :)

If you were going to get the gtx 780 ti instead of the gtx 980, you should have gotten a freaking gtx 970, its cheaper than the 780 to by over 100$ and in most games has HIGHER performance.

Wow... For the price you paid for the gtx 780 ti...you could have gotten TWO gtx 970's in SLI performing better than a gtx 980...

You sure you can't return the gtx 780 ti and get your money back?
