Description

This is my first build so cable management might not be the best. Planning to make this into a hackintosh. I bought all the parts at microcenter. My case did not come with a usb 3.0 to 19 pin cable. Ordered one on ebay, still in the mail. Not planning on overclocking (3570k was cheaper at microcenter I believe).

OSX installed pretty easily but IGU didn't work well with QE/CI so I installed windows 7.

Still looking for the best value video card.

Best VALUE video card? 7870 or 660ti/660

I think the 7870xt takes the cake every day, but considering this is going to be a hackintosh, OP should make sure he picks a compatible video card.

Well, I know Sapphire has a compatible 7950.

That would be a good option, but if the 7870XT is compatible, then that would be a better choice for cheaper. The typical 7870 doesn't have the 7900 architecture, but the 7870XT does have the 7900 architecture, so the 7870 is like a 2gb version of the 7950.
