Description

All the parts except for the case where from an old Dell computer from 4 years ago. I decided to turn this into a server build where I could make backups for the computers in my house and also run a game server or 2 off of it. I don't expect much off of this computer it was just kind of a fun project.

Oh okay. Wasn't sure if it used a standard board or a proprietary one

How do you make backups with only 500GB?

The 2 computers I will be making backups for barely use 100 gbs.

depends on the software being used, my virtual machines with hundreds of GBs of data only take up a few GBs of space after the compression process during the backup.

how has that PSU held up? im thinking of taking an old pc and restoring it, will probably need a new psu

I actually don't use that PSU in the build, I am using an OEM Dell PSU and that was the closest I could find to that dell OEM. But I would suggest get something at least 80+ bronze certified, don't want to cause a fire from a bad PSU
