Description

My son has been gaming on a Lenovo M93 Pre-built that i had lying about specs were pretty modest, for what it was. i7 4770/8GB Ram/1TB HDD

Then he started to play Lego Worlds and it wouldnt keep up so i popped in a spare GT730 i had in the loft, this helped a bit but wasn't great especially when his younger brother wanted to join in.

I decided a GTX1050 would be perfect for the job as it required no external power and should play anything he can throw at it at 720p (screen at the time was a 19" wide screen) so this was bought middle of last year. He got a 32" TV earlier this year that i am including in the build cost.

As i have recently updated my rig to coffee lake i decided that for his birthday i would buy a new case/psu and donate my old HW - a 4790/16GB Ram/250GB SSD/H80i GT(V2)/Hue+ lighting kit

On top of that as he has a love of all things Minecraft i thought i would customise his case with a lick of paint. the paint for anyone interested if Ford Olympic Blue which i though was closest to 'Diamond' colour.

We spent his birthday afternoon putting it together - he did the majority of the screwing/placing parts himself with little help

That is such a cool addition! Sometimes the best mod is to simply choose a unique colour, love it!

One recommendation: put the picture of the completed build first, otherwise your thumbnail gives the impression that your PC is a piece of metal ;)
