Description

I realize the black and white "Stormtrooper" color scheme has been played out but I'm happy with the outcome. This is my first new build since....well since the GTX780 came out however long that may be. My MSI Lightning GTX780 and I5-3570K just weren't cutting it anymore as I recently struggled through Witcher 3 at less than preferred settings. The new setup is 100 percent gaming and was given a budget of $2500.00 CDN not including peripherals. I am mostly into story driven games and value graphics quality over FPS. I plan to upgrade my BenQ XL2720T 1080P monitor for something in the 1440P spectrum sometime before Cyberpunk 2077 is launched.

*Yes, my cable management is horrible I'm waiting on some Cablemod customs. Y

**If anyone has been wondering about the size of GPU the Corsair 280X can fit you definitely have room beyond the advertised 300MM though obviously a front mount radiator is out of the question.

Quick question did u have any problems with the H100i Platinum hitting the ram on that motherboard?

It was close BUT there is room and the fittings/hose are not touching the RAM. I was concerned about the issue and I ended up running the cooler and hoses to the back of the case because of it. TIP - if you get the H100i install the back plate before putting the MB in the chassis....
