Description

This was my first attempt a building a PC and it went well. I think some people overthink building computers and that it is a hard thing to do but in realty it isn't. I originally was planning to build a $1,000 gaming PC but I tend to go all out when I become interested in things, at the time the ninth generation of Intel CPU's had just been released and so had the RTX GPU's had also become a new option.

When I built the PC in early 2019 I didn't take any pictures during the build process I was to focused on making sure I did everything correctly. I haven't had any issues with any of the PC components, however I have had one issue with my corsair HS70's. My left headphone died after about a month, but corsair customer service was great I received a new headset about a week later and haven't has any issues sense.

The build process was very simple and easy for a first time builder, I has no issue with anything while building. I get great performance out of every part and I'm planing of upgrading some components at a later date. I use the computer for mostly gaming and some very light editing, with a lot of web browsing.

Haha lol. I’m working on saving up for my first bomb... gonna take FOREVER it’s literally insane. I wanted to get the 9980xe (i9) ever since they cut the price in Australia by 50% lol. Looking forward to seeing your future builds (if you decide to get any)! Love the RGB theme too!

Thanks! Just wondering, have you done any benchmark tests yet with the pc yet? Have you overclocked any parts yet?

Yes I have overclocked the CPU but I haven't done anything with the GPU. Sadly my I9 doesn't like to overclock very well, I can't run sable a 5.0 GHz, so all cores are clocked a 4.7 GHz.

Nice build! I also started my NZXT build with a $1k budget that I quickly went over lol

Idk about you, but I have no regrets. It's so worth it when you end up with an awesome build!

Yeah I also have no regrets, I'm very glad I ended up going with a more high end build. I'm just mad about spending $140 on rgb. lmao
